On 04/02/2025 I was logged into the flock camera system patroling the south end of Jones County when I received an alert. Flock camera #16 on new Clinton @ Adahi alerted to an expired registration on a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe (blue) tag #[REDACTED] headed towards Joycliff. I ran the tag through GCIC and found the registration to be currently expired.

I was in the area an located the vehicle turning onto old Stagecoach. I was able to get behind the Tahoe on Joycliff as it turned onto Kingsview. I turned on my blue light and initiated a traffic stop. The vehicle did not stop after an appropriate amount of time. I then turned on my siren. The vehicle still did not stop and passed a work truck as we turned onto Kingsview Circle. At this point I called out a vehicle pursuit to dispatch. The vehicle then turned onto Champion Dr and increased speed. The vehicle traveled in the wrong lane while on Champion Dr. A school bus was encountered along with a child standing with aparent on the roadside.

The vehicle then got into the wrong lane and continued. Noting the the time of day, I decided to attempt a P.I.T. Maneuver. (Precision Immobilization Technique) on the vehicle. Upon setting up on the vehicle, I noted a small child unrestrained in the back seat. At this time I decided not to perform the maneuver over concern for the small child. I was set up on the passenger side of the vehicle as the vehile turned right onto Kingsview Circle striking my patrol vehicle. The Tahoe struck my front drivers side bumper/fender area.

The vehicle continued on and ran the stop sign at Kingsview Cir. and Confederate Dr. I followed the vehicle as it proceeded down Confederate and drove through a front yard going onto Whitaker speeding up. I turned onto Whitaker Rd and attempted to catch up. I noted the vehicle to be doing well over the posted speed in excess of 70mph. At this time I backed my speed off and disengaged the pursuit knowing the vehicle would soon come to the intersection of 49.

Investigator Hall advised that the driver would be going to [100 BLOCK] Pecan Dr. This was the address associated with the tag. I turned onto Hwy 49 and noted the vehicle to turn onto Yukon Dr. I proceeded to [100 BLOCK] Pecan Dr via Hwy 49 and waited in front of the residence for the vehicle. I did not follow the suspect vehicle down Yukon. After about a minute the vehcile appeared on Pecan. After seeing my patrol vehicle, the suspect drove strainght into a vacant lot and bailed out. I followed behind and noted the driver to be a male, run into the woods. I stayed with the vehicle as it still had occupants. I called the bush bond into dispatch and commanded the occupants out one by one. My pistol was drawn at this time.

Upon getting the occupants out of the vehicle, I asked about the driver. [WITNESS #1] (front passenger) advised that the driver was her son Nathaniel Clark. [WITNESS #2] (backseat passenger) advised the driver was Nathaniel Clark. [JUVENILE #1] (Juvenile) (backseat passenger) advised the driver was Nathaniel Clark) also I found a 6yr old child in the backseat. [JUVENILE #2] Everyone was detained until the scene was secured.

[WITNESS #2] and [WITNESS #1] were cuffed until backup units arrived. Upon inventory of the car a Ruger 9mm was fount in the front passenger area in a beach type bag. This gun was easily acessible to both driver and front passenger. [WITNESS #1] said the gun was hers. The gun was taken into evidence. Once done with the scene all occupants were released. The 6 yr old [JUVENILE #2] and [JUVENILE #1] were released to their grandmother [WITNESS #1]. At this point the vehicle was towed by M&M towing with a hold placed for valid registration and the registered owner.

Nathaniel Clark has not been arrested at the time of this report.
