On 12-24-25 at approximately 1200 hrs. I was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Baker Rd. Gray, Ga. in reference a suicide threat. Dispatch advised that Rebekah (Baker) Stuart had made suicidal statements on a recorded 911 line as well as threatening to burn down the home and statements about not wanting to live anymore.

On arrival I found (Baker) Stuart on the living room couch and her two children, [JUVENILE #1] and [JUVENILE #2], in the home along with the original caller, [VICTIM #1] who met me in the driveway of the home.

I asked (Baker) Stuart what was going on and initially (Baker) Stuart replied, “Ain’t nothing going on.” and continued about her business. (Baker) Stuart was obviously upset and asking why we were in her home. I had Dep. Morgan stay with (Baker) Stuart while I spoke with the two children in the back room.

[JUVENILE #1] was crying and [JUVENILE #2] was visibly upset. I asked the children why they were so upset and [JUVENILE #1] replied that her mother was angry at her and was yelling at her but would not get into detail why (Baker) Stuart was so upset. [JUVENILE #2] stayed quiet and then (Baker) Stuart told the children from the other room and said, “You know what to say when you talk to them right?” referring to law enforcement and the children invoking their 5 th Amendment rights and speaking with a lawyer.

I spoke with the original caller [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] said that he had originally called when (Baker) Stuart started yelling at the children and after reporting what he had to call 911 surreptitiously had (Baker) Stuart’s rant recorded on 911 lines by placing the phone into his pocket. [VICTIM #1] said that (Baker) Stuart had repeatedly said that she wanted to commit suicide and at one point said that she was going to burn down the home with everyone and everything inside. Speaking further with [VICTIM #1], [VICTIM #1] stated that (Baker) Stuart had also threatened the children by saying that she would shoot the children in the face and then kill herself. Listening to the 911 recording, (Baker) Stuart can be heard saying, “I’m about to tear this entire house up and set it on fire!”

After securing (Baker) Stuart it was found that when (Baker) Stuart was yelling at [JUVENILE #1], (Baker) Stuart threw a plate of food at [JUVENILE #1] hitting her with the food and plate on [JUVENILE #1]’s right triceps area. [JUVENILE #1] only reported this to deputies after (Baker) Stuart left the residence. Speaking with all three people, it was also stated that (Baker) Stuart had grabbed the two puppies at the home and threw them into the floor causing the puppies to yelp in pain. It was unclear as to why (Baker) Stuart had thrown the puppies.

[JUVENILE #1] was released to her biological father and [JUVENILE #2] was transported back to the Jones County Sheriff’s Office and was released to DFACS personnel.

I listened to the 911 recording of (Baker) Stuart threatening suicide and burning down the home and it was requested that the 911 recording be attached to this case number. Photographs of [JUVENILE #1]’s arm with food and redness and submitted with this report.

A warrant for Rebekah (Baker) Stuart was sought and obtained for:

Terroristic Threats and Acts / Cruelty to Children (FVA) / and two (2) counts of Cruelty to Animals
