Saturday, September 26, 2026, I Deputy Jones received a call in reference to a domestic.
Upon arrival, I met with an individual identified as [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that her ex, identified as Ricky Robinson, had taken her child. Ricky does not have any legal right to the child. Ricky walked to [WITNESS #1]’s house, where [VICTIM #1] and her children were staying. Ricky appeared to be under the influence of a narcotic at the time. Ricky walked up while [VICTIM #1]’s children were playing outside. One of the older daughters saw Ricky. Ricky put a finger over his mouth and made a shushing sound.
Ricky then grabbed [VICTIM #1]’s two-year-old baby and began to walk away with the baby. [WITNESS #1] happened to look out the window and saw Ricky walking away with the baby. [VICTIM #1] and [WITNESS #1] then ran outside and began fighting with Ricky, attempting to get her baby back. Ricky shoved [VICTIM #1] and continued with the baby. Deputy Whitaker arrived on scene while this was happening and took the baby from Ricky and gave the baby back to [VICTIM #1].
Ricky had tried to call [VICTIM #1] yesterday and left a voicemail stating the following, “I am going to come f*ck you up.” Followed by racial slurs.
The baby was checked for injury with [VICTIM #1] present, and we did not see any marks or injuries to the baby.
I will be seeking warrants for the following: Kidnapping (16-5-40), Terroristic Threats (16-11-37), Cruelty to Children 3rd Degree (16-5-70), Simple Battery Family Violence (16-5-23), Child Endangerment (16-5-73).
