On 11/28/25 at approximately 1409 hours, I was dispatched to [800 BLOCK] Bacon Rd in reference to a gunshot wound. The complainant advised there were 8 to 10 shots, and a male was on the ground shot in the back.
Spo Jones (183) and Ofc Torres (154) arrived on scene first and located a male [REDACTED BY AGENCY] [REDACTED]) lying on his stomach near the driveway of [800 BLOCK] Bacon Rd. I assisted Spo Jones and Ofc Torres with life saving measures until EMS arrived on scene. EMS arrived on scene and began assessing [REDACTED BY AGENCY] injuries before transporting him to a landing zone for life star.
I spoke with a male on scene who identified himself as [REDACTED BY AGENCY] [WITNESS #1]. Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated he was eating lunch when he heard approximately 6 to 8 gunshots outside. Mr. [WITNESS #1] went outside and saw [REDACTED BY AGENCY] on the ground near his driveway. Mr. [WITNESS #1] stated there were several people outside saying to call 911.
I spoke with a male [REDACTED BY AGENCY] [WITNESS #2]) who stated he was working on the roof of [600 BLOCK] Meloney Rd when he heard what he believed to be fireworks. When he looked towards the direction of the fireworks, he could see a male in the road which he believed was setting off the fireworks. Mr. [WITNESS #2] stated he realized the noise he was heard were gunshots not fireworks. After the shots he observed a silver Hyundai car (Possibly a Hyundai Accent) driving down Bacon Rd towards Eunice Rd after the shots went off. Mr. [WITNESS #2] got off the roof and ran towards the area where he called 911.
I made contact with a male [REDACTED BY AGENCY] [WITNESS #3]) at [600 BLOCK] Lee Rd who advised he heard the gunshots which he initially believed to be fireworks. Mr. [WITNESS #3] showed me his doorbell camera which showed a silver passenger car speed past his residence and take a right onto Bacon Rd. The video footage was forwarded to the detective’s division.
I made contact with another male who was on scene when I arrived. The male stated his name was [REDACTED BY AGENCY] [REDACTED]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated he got a call from [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who told him he had been shot. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated at first he thought [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was joking with him, but he usually does not: “Play like that”. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated he rode his bike towards house and saw him on the ground.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] [VICTIM #2] who lives at [800 BLOCK] Bacon Rd was outside his residence when officers arrived on scene. Mr [VICTIM #2] stated the front of his residence was shot multiple times which caused damage to the bricks. Mr [VICTIM #2] stated he was in the back of his residence when he heard several gunshots go off. He stated when he went to the front of his residence, he observed a young black male lying in the driveway of his neighbor’s residence. He stated he was unsure if his neighbor knew who the subject was.
Mr [VICTIM #2] stated his wife [REDACTED BY AGENCY] [REDACTED]), his daughter ([REDACTED BY AGENCY] [REDACTED]) and his son ([REDACTED BY AGENCY] [REDACTED]) were inside the residence when his house was shot.
Officers secured the area with crime scene tape. Sgt Kunda notified the detective’s division who arrived on scene and assumed the investigation.
