On Sunday, November 2, 2025 at 2059 hours I was dispatched to [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. in reference to a physical domestic. I arrived on scene at 2119 hours and activated my body worn camera to make contact with the involved parties. The complainant, Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was in her bedroom inside the residence while her stepfather (Mr. Allen Pryor), and mother [REDACTED BY AGENCY] were outside on the front porch. Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] led me inside the residence to speak to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in her bedroom.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she came into her bedroom and saw Mr. Pryor was inside and had moved some of her items around, going through her property. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she then began verbally arguing with Mr. Pryor because she was upset about him being in her room. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised Mr. Pryor then put his finger in her face so she put her hand up to block it and Mr. Pryor took that as her trying to fight him. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised as she put her hand up to block his finger, Mr. Pryor immediately started choking her by placing his hands around her throat.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated as this was happening, they fell backwards onto her bed to where Mr. Pryor was on top of her with his hands still around her throat. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she then put her arms out and started trying to choke Mr. Pryor back to defend herself.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised this only stopped when [REDACTED BY AGENCY] came into the bedroom and separated them, holding [REDACTED BY AGENCY] down to try and calm her down. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised while she was being choked, she could not breathe but did not lose consciousness. I observed scratch marks/small gouges on the back of Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] neck that appeared to be consistent with the statement she gave. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also advised at some point during this incident, Mr. Pryor walked out of the room and she heard him hit her door which resulted in a hole. I observed the hole in her door. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised she wanted to pursue criminal charges against Mr. Pryor.
I then spoke to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who advised her and Mr. Pryor live in the trailer next door but maintain a reptile room at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] residence so they were coming over to tend to the room. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised she did not know what led up to the incident but when she walked into Ms. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] room, she observed Mr. Pryor on top of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] on the bed with their hands around each other’s necks. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she then separated them and restrained [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to try and de-escalate the situation.
I then went outside to make contact with Mr. Pryor who immediately stated he was not going to give a statement because we were going to use it against him, and for me to do what I needed to do. I gave Mr. Pryor one more opportunity to give his side of the incident and he still declined.
I then placed Mr. Pryor under arrest by placing him in handcuffs behind his back that were double locked and checked for fit. Sgt. Henning (956) then conducted a search incident to arrest of his person finding no contraband. I then placed Mr. Pryor into the rear seat of my patrol vehicle which was cleared of contraband at the beginning of my shift. Sgt. Henning issued [REDACTED BY AGENCY] a Victim’s Pamphlet.
I transported Mr. Pryor to the Liberty County Jail where he was released to booking staff without incident. I cleared the rear seat of my patrol vehicle for contraband with none being found.
My body camera was pointed towards all injuries and damages involved in this case. Mr. Pryor is being charged with Battery- FVA, warrants will be obtained within the appropriate time frame.
[End of Narrative]
