On 09/08/2025 at 1358 hours, I was dispatched to 151 E Ml King Jr Dr (Enmarket) in reference to a disturbance.

I arrived on scene and made contact with Kevin Larson, an off-duty Savannah Police Officer #66498. Ofc Larson advised that, when he came out the door to the business, James Nesbitt, had came up to him and advised him “I gotchu”. As Ofc Larson was putting his daughter in the vehicle, Mr Nesbitt came up to him, opened a white Tylenol bottle with green leafy substance in it, and advised “I told you I gotchu”. Ofc Larson also observed Mr Nesbitt enter a white 2007 Ford F-150 displaying Ga tag [REDACTED] with the city of Hinesville logo on the side. Ofc Larson advised the driver of the vehicle was a black male, with dreads, and an orange shirt.

Based on Ofc Larson’s observations and having had prior knowledge of a prior incident earlier in the day of Mr Nesbitt trying to sell people narcotics (See CRN 250933789), Mr Nesbitt was detained in handcuffs, searched, and placed in the rear of my patrol vehicle.

During the search of Mr Nesbitt’s person, I located a white Tylenol bottle containing a clear plastic bag containing two bags of white crystal-like substance. The pill bottle did have the odor of marijuana eminating from it, but no marijuana was located. On Mr Nesbitt’s person multiple debit cards and mail belonging to other people were located. All items were secured, transported to the Hinesville Police Department, logged, and placed in the temporary evidence locker.

I made contact with the store clerk, [WITNESS #1]. Mr [WITNESS #1] advised that Mr Nesbitt asked him if he wanted to buy ice, powder, or crack.

I made contact with [REDACTED], the assistant store manager. Ms [REDACTED] allowed me to view security footage. On the footage, I observed a black male, with an orange shirt and dreadlocks, later identified as [VICTIM #1], get out of the city of Hinesville vehicle and walk around the corner. I then observed Mr Nesbitt walk over to the vehicle, open the door, and go through the driver side of the vehicle. I was unable to see if Mr Nesbitt had taken anything from the inside of the vehicle. I was able to receive a copy of the video and attached it to this report.

I made contact with the narcotics detective, Cpl Riddick #120, via phone call. Cpl Riddick advised to log the evidence, and he would pursue the charges at a later date.

While in the backseat of my patrol vehicle, Mr Nesbitt advised me “imma kill your a*s b*tch” and “im gunna kill your motherf*cking a*s”. My department issued vehicle camera was on and recording.

Mr Nesbitt was transported to Liberty County Jail and released to jail staff with no incident.

Prior to the completion of this report, I made contact with Mr [VICTIM #1]. Mr [VICTIM #1] advised that he did not observe anything missing from the vehicle. I advised Mr [VICTIM #1] to follow up if he notices anything missing.

Warrant application will be taken out on Mr Nesbitt and he will be brought before a magistrate judge in a timely manner.
