On 09/04/2026 at 02:40 I was dispatched to 462 Elma G Miles Parkway (Liberty Regional Medical Center) in reference to a stabbing.

At 02:40 I arrived on scene and met with a [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY], who advised that they had been hanging out at 230 West General Screven Way (Huta) when a Mr. Jarred White began to argue with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that she had attempted to walk away and go to her vehicle when Mr. White caught up with her and broke her phone. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] retrieved her broken phone, and got in her vehicle to go to [200 BLOCK] Hall Street to retrieve personal items from the residence of Mr. White. [REDACTED BY AGENCY], Mr. White, and a [REDACTED BY AGENCY] all went together to [200 BLOCK] Hall street where [REDACTED BY AGENCY] began to retrieve her items.

An argument broke out between Mr. White and [REDACTED BY AGENCY], during which Mr. White stated “I got somethin for you” and went into the residence.

When Mr. White came back outside, a physical altercation ensued between him and Mr. White, who used a [REDACTED BY AGENCY] knife to stab [REDACTED BY AGENCY] twice in his left-side abdomen/ribcage area. The knife in question was brought to the Liberty Regional Medical Center by [REDACTED BY AGENCY], who did not recall how he came into possession of the knife. Hospital staff placed this knife in a biohazard plastic bag where I collected it in the room that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was being aided in.

Mr. White then went back into his residence, and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was transported to the Liberty Regional Medical Center by [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

After gathering blood evidence items, I contacted SGT Lui to brief him, to which he contacted Detective Colvin who made contact with us out at the hospital.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] met with Detective Colvin and me at the Hinesville Police Department to lead officers to the residence where the incident took place. Officer Torres, myself, and Detective Colvin followed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to the address of [200 BLOCK] Hall Street where he was able to point out which residence Mr. White had gone back into.

Officer Torres, Detective Colvin, and I attempted to make contact with Mr. White. Shortly after knocking on the front door, I head a commotion from the backside of the apartments, to which Officer Torres advised over the radio that Mr. White fled on foot and was heading towards Liberty Apartments.

Several Officers responded and a search was conducted. Mr. White was spotted once more on Memorial Dr running towards General Stewart Way, where he was apprehended near the intersection of W General Stewart Way and W General Screven way (the 38 Connector).

The arrest and transport of the suspect followed department protocol. The suspect was searched, handcuffs were applied checked for proper fit, and double locked. The suspect was then placed in the rear seat of my patrol vehicle and secured with a seat belt for transport.

My patrol vehicle was searched before and after transport, and no contraband was found. The suspect was released into the custody of the Liberty County Detention Center staff without incident.
