On June 14, 2022, at 1217 hours, I was sitting in the parking lot of Allenhurst Tire and Brake. I observed the driver of a red 2004 Nissan Maxima traveling westbound on Georgia 38 not wearing a seatbelt. I activated my emergency equipment and conducted a traffic stop. Final traffic stop location being on Dunlevie Rd and Church St.

I made contact with the driver (Jordan Frazier) and explained to him the reason for the traffic stop. While speaking to the driver, I noticed a small crumb of a green leafy substance which appeared to be marijuana sitting on the dash. I asked the driver how much marijuana was inside the vehicle and he reached on the passenger floorboard and hand me a clear container contain a green leafy substance. I asked the driver to step out of the vehicle, which he did. I asked the driver when was the last time he smoked marijuana and he said this morning around 0800 hours. I asked the driver if he would perform SFST and he said yes.

Lighting conditions consisted of sunlight. The exercise surface was flat, smooth, and dry. The driver stated he wore contacts and only had the left one in. Each exercise was explained and demonstrated to the driver and when asked if he understood, he gave a verbal yes.

The driver was placed under arrest for driving under the influence. The driver was placed in double-locked handcuffs which were checked for fit. He was searched incident to arrest and no contraband was found. I read the Georgia implied consent notice for suspects over the age of 21, from my green implied consent card on the scene. The driver gave a verbal yes for blood. I read the driver Miranda and asked if would submit to a DRE eval and he said yes.

He was placed in the backseat of my patrol vehicle and seat belted in. The backseat of my patrol vehicle was searched after transport with no contraband being found. The driver was taken to Liberty Regional Medical Center for the blood draw. The Driver was transported to the Liberty County Jail for further processing. The found contraband was placed in the drug locker.
