On 12–26–2025 at 1642 hours, I was dispatched to [200 BLOCK] Deerwood Dr. in reference to a domestic with injuries.

I arrived on scene and made contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] ([REDACTED BY AGENCY] yr old), who stated she was involved in an altercation with her big sister that became physical. I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] how the incident started. She advised her sister, Kailyn Cheneau, approached her in their bedroom and asked for a ipad charger. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she would not give the iPad charger to Ms. Cheneau, which started a verbal altercation that escalated into a “tussle” between the two parties as they fought for control over the charger.

While Ms. Cheneau was trying to get the charger from [REDACTED BY AGENCY], she grabbed a metal Stanley cup and began pouring the water onto [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (I observed a large wet mark on [REDACTED BY AGENCY] shirt that was consistent with having water poured on her).

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that as they continued fighting over the charger, Ms. Cheneau grabbed the same metal cup that had the contents dumped on her and began striking her in the head repeatedly (I observed several raised bumps on [REDACTED BY AGENCY] forehead, along with a laceration behind her left ear and a minor cut that had welts underneath them). This injury appeared to be consistent with being hit with a blunt object. During the physical altercation, Ms. Cheneau went into [REDACTED BY AGENCY] purse and stole the cash inside (approximately $35.00).

I requested EMS to the scene and made contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] other sister/witness, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] ([REDACTED BY AGENCY] yr old), who stated she was in her mother’s bedroom when she heard an altercation and observed Ms. Cheneau striking [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in the head several times with the metal cup.

A second witness who was inside the residence at the time of the incident, identified himself as [REDACTED BY AGENCY] ([REDACTED BY AGENCY] yr old brother) and advised that while he was in the residence, he observed Ms. Cheneau striking Ms. [REDACTED] in the head with the metal cup.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] complained that her head was hurting; EMS arrived on scene but treatment was refused. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also stated that during the altercation, Ms. Cheneau damaged her new iPad and smashed out their bedroom window (I observed the broken window and iPad; photos will be attached to the media section). I asked how the bedroom window was smashed and was advised by [REDACTED BY AGENCY] that while Ms. Cheneau was striking [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in the head with the cup, the window was struck on her back swing, which shattered the window.

I made contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] mother, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] [REDACTED], who was at work in Savannah, and advised that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was an adult and was the legal guardian over the kids while she was not at home. I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] where Ms. Cheneau was; she stated that when Ms. Cheneau realized the police were being called, she said, “watch how fast I disappear,” and fled the scene heading towards Glenn Bryant. Officers searched the area and were unable to locate Ms. Cheneau.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] was provided a victim’s rights pamphlet with a CRN and advised to call back if Ms. Cheneau returned to the residence. Shortly after leaving the scene, the domestic was reopened; Ms. [REDACTED] advised that Ms. Cheneau returned to the residence.

Sgt Kunda #139, OFC Torres #154 and I arrived on scene and made contact with Ms. Cheneau at the residence, who described the altercation as her being jumped by her sisters ([REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY]) and they took her charger. I asked Ms. Cheneau how she was jumped, and she said she was punched repeatedly in the face by both of her sisters (no visible injuries were observed on Ms. Cheneau’s face or head).

I asked Ms. Cheneau how the window and the iPad were damaged. She stated she did not know and that it must have happened during the altercation. Ms. Cheneau also stated she was only defending herself from her two sisters. I advised Ms. Cheneau that the injuries found on [REDACTED BY AGENCY] were inconsistent with her statement and that she was under arrest for the battery against her sister.

While speaking to Ms. Cheneau, she was continuously using a nicotine/tobacco product commonly referred to as a “Vape” that was left on the property after she was placed in handcuffs and taken to a patrol vehicle. Ofc Torres placed Ms. Cheneau in the rear of his patrol vehicle and transported her to the Liberty County Jail, where she was released to the custody of a Liberty County jailer.

Warrants were applied for aggravated assault, robbery by sudden snatching, cruelty to a child in the first degree, cruelty to a child in the third degree, criminal damage in the second degree, and possession of a vape/tobacco product by a minor.
