On 12/28/2025 at 2322 hours, SPO Jones #183 and I were dispatched to [200 BLOCK] Hall St Apt [REDACTED] (Liberty Place Apts) in reference to a domestic dispute.

Upon arrival, SPO Jones #183 and I spoke with Ms Ericka Small. Ms Small stated her daughter, Ms Paris Clark, “bum rushed” into her room to ask if she could get a ride to an unknown location on Roland St to look for her cellphone that she had lost the day prior (12-27-2025). Ms Small stated she was not going to take her to another house because she needed to go to work.

Ms Small stated the argument did get physical after they briefly argued with each other. She stated the altercation began when Ms Clark became disrespectful and walked away from her. Ms Small stated Ms Clark was not going to be disrespectful in her home and pushed her as Ms Clark walked away.

She stated the argument continued when Ms Clark was trying to leave. She stated when Ms Clark was trying to leave, she blocked Ms Clark from leaving by standing in front of the door. Ms Small stated the incident continued when she turned off the power to the residence from the circuit breaker. Ms Small advised her grandchild was not near them when they were getting “physical”. When I asked Ms Small where was she struck on her body during the fight, she responded “I do not know because it was dark in the residence”.

During the interview, Ms [SMALL]’s statements she provided were inconsistent and she would not clarify certain statements that were needed to be clarified.

We spoke with Ms Clark who stated she went to her mother’s room and asked to be taken to another address to pick up her phone. Ms Clark stated Ms Small told her no because she needed to go to work. Both parties had a mutual aggreement that Ms Clark would take Ms Small to work in Pooler due to Ms Small’s license being suspended. Ms Clark stated she walked away from her mother and went outside to stand by the car.

While she was outside, Ms Small locked Ms Clark out of the residence. Eventually, Ms Small opened the door and Ms Clark went back inside. Ms Clark stated they began to argue again inside the residence. Ms Clark advised she tried to leave their residence with her child; however, Ms Small stood in her way, guarding the door.

Ms Clark stated when she tried to leave, Ms Small pushed her and her child that was in her arms. Ms Clark also stated after she was pushed, she sat down on her bed and they continued to argue. During this incident, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (7 months old) was on the mattress next to Ms Clark. The two parties continued to engage in a heated argument and Ms Small decided to take the wifi router and turned the power off to the entire house.

Ms Clark stated the residence was dark and she was trying to get her stuff together. While she was getting her stuff together, Ms Small came over to her area. Ms Clark admitted she got mad and pushed her mother. She also stated Ms Small pushed her back and they began to fight on the mattress.

I asked Ms Clark if she knew where she struck her mother at on her body and she replied, “it was dark but I know the different body parts”. “I hit her on the head, body and choked her”. When I asked Ms Clark to describe how she choked her mother, she stated she used both hands and pressed her thumbs into her esophagus (where the preesure points are). Ms Clark looked at the officers on scene and confirmed if her techniques were the right way to choke someone.

Ms Clark said she only got off of her mother because her daughter was in bed with them as the fight continued and she began to cry. Ms Clark stated Ms Small approached her again and began to “choke” her. Ms Clark stated as she was being choked, she could not breathe but did not lose conciousness.

Ms Small sustained lacerations to the right side of her neck. Ms Clark advised the choking stopped when she was able to kick her mother off of her. I observed several scratch marks on the right side of Ms Clark’s neck. There were red marks on the right side of Ms Small’s neck near her collar bone. Photographs were taken and digitally attached to this report.

Ms Small was informed she was under arrest. She was placed in hancuffs (double locked and checked for fit) and escorted to my patrol vehicle. Ofc Reed #111 conducted a search of Ms Small. No contraband was found. She was secured in the rear of my patrol vehicle.

Ms Clark was given a victim’s rights pamphlet and was informed how to obtain a copy of this report. The appropriate warrants for Ms Small will be applied for. Ms Clark was not arrested due to the child not having a caretaker. The approriate warrants for Ms Clark will be applied for.

Ms Small was transported to the Liberty County Jail. She was released to the jail staff without further incident. The rear of my patrol vehicle was checked before and after the transport of Ms Small.
