On 11/22/2025 at approximately 1528 hrs, I responded to [600 BLOCK] Slade St in reference to a gunshot wound call. Dispatch advised a 2-year-old child shot himself in his face.

Upon arrival, neighbors attempted CPR. EMS arrived on scene and took the child, [REDACTED BY AGENCY], to LRMC where he was pronounced deceased.

Cpl Lamberth retrieved the firearm and expended shell casing from Mr [REDACTED BY AGENCY] [REDACTED], who stated he retrieved it to keep it away from other children.

Sgt Lui contacted Det Lachowsky who arrived on scene and assumed control of the investigation,

Sgt Lui retrieved the firearm and shell casing from Cpl Lamberth and submitted them in to the temporary evidence locker,
