On 02/15/2026 at 2039hrs I was dispatched to [600 BLOCK] Saunders Ave [REDACTED BY AGENCY] on the second floor of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] building in reference to a domestic. Dispatch advised there was a gun pulled out against the female party.
I arrived on scene and made contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who stated her boyfriend, Reginald Brown, started to argue with her inside of the residence. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] exited the residence with their two dogs for a walk around the building when Mr Brown exited the residence and began to argue with her behind the building.
Mrs [VICTIM #1] attempted to separate herself from Mr Brown by returning to the residence but Mr Brown grabbed Mrs [VICTIM #1] by the bend in her right arm leaving scratch marks on her arm. Mrs [VICTIM #1] pulled away from Mr Brown and he walked away but soon returned to the residence. An image of the marks will be digitally attached to this report.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] followed Mr Brown back to the residence and waited outside for Mr Brown to put his dog up. Mr Brown exited the residence and began to yell at Mrs [VICTIM #1] and pushed her in front of the front door. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] yelled at Mr Brown to keep his hands off of her and entered the residence to put away her dog.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] exited the residence and saw Mr Brown walking up the staircase outside of their residence. Mr Brown reached into his hoodie and pulled out a handgun, charged the weapon while facing it towards the wall, and placed it back into his hoodie. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised she was not afraid of Mr Brown but did not know if Mr Brown would use his firearm or not.
Sergeant Lui 149 made contact with Mr Brown and obtained his statement. He requested central to run Mr Brown’s oln through GCIC and Mr Brown had an active warrant for his arrest through Liberty County SO for probation violation. Officer Blocker 162 detained Mr Brown pending warrant verification.
We were also informed by central dispatch that Mr Brown’s license was suspended for child support obligations. Ofc Blocker seized the license and issued Mr Brown a suspension notice.
HPD advised the warrant was valid and that Liberty County wanted to place a hold. Mr Brown was arrested and escorted by Ofc Blocker to Ofc Blocker’s patrol vehicle.
Sergeant Lui and I observed security footage of Mr Brown pushing Mrs [VICTIM #1] in front of the apartment door.
When asked if [REDACTED BY AGENCY] knew where the weapon was, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised she went back into the residence to retrieve a charger while Mr Brown went back down the stairs towards his car with his weapon.
Sgt Lui briefed me of Mr Brown’s statement, which was he and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was arguing because Mr Brown believed she was being unfaithful. He stated the argument was only verbal.
Officer Adam 114 observed a firearm sticking out with the magazine facing up in between the driver’s seat and center console. Images of the vehicle positioned in front of [600 BLOCK] Saunders Ave [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and pictures of the firearm sitting in the car will be digitally attached to this report.
Ofc Adam read Mr Brown his miranda warning who invoked his fifth amendment right to remain silent.
A review of Mr Brown’s criminal history informed me that Mr Brown was a convicted felon; that on 3/3/2023 in the superior court of Liberty County, Mr Brown was convicted of criminal use of an article with an altered ID mark (possession of a firearm with a removed serial number).
Mr Brown’s 2018 Nissan Sentra [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was transported by Kevin’s Towing to 123 E ML King Dr (Hinesville PD) to be searched pending search warrant.
Ofc Blocker transported and released Mr Brown to LCJ. The suspect’s arrest and transport followed the department protocol, consisting of the suspect being searched, handcuffs being applied, checked for fit, and double locked. The suspect was seat belted for transport, and the vehicle was searched prior to and after transport with no contraband found.
Mrs [VICTIM #1] was informed how to obtain a copy of this report and tpo procedures. Warrants will be applied for within the time allotted by law.
