On 10/22/2025 at approximately 0043 hours, Cpl Lamberth (189) and I were dispatched to Gata’s Sports Bar and Grill, located at 811 Elma G Miles Parkway, in reference to a disturbance involving an intoxicated customer.

Prior to our arrival, dispatch advised that the complainant, identified as the manager Mr. [VICTIM #1], would be located inside the business.

Cpl Lamberth and I arrived on scene at approximately the same time. Upon entering the business, I immediately observed an intoxicated male, later identified as Mr. Ricardo Rodriguez, sitting on the floor and making inappropriate and unwanted comments toward Mr. [VICTIM #1]. Mr. Rodriguez was shouting, “shut the f*ck up, n*gga,” while pointing at Mr. [VICTIM #1]. He repeated this statement several times in the presence of other patrons in the area.

Mr. Rodriguez became belligerent and attempted to stand up from his seated position to confront Mr. [VICTIM #1]. I gave Mr. Rodriguez verbal commands to remain quiet, but he continued making derogatory remarks, calling Mr. [VICTIM #1] “b*tch as n*gga.” Due to his behavior and disorderly conduct, I detained Mr. Rodriguez in handcuffs. Mr. Rodriguez was then removed from the business and placed in the rear seat of Cpl Lamberth’s patrol vehicle.

I made contact with Mr. [VICTIM #1] to obtain his statement. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mr. Rodriguez had entered the business around 1800 hours with a group of friends. Throughout the night, Mr. Rodriguez ordered food and alcoholic beverages. Around 2300 hours, Mr. Rodriguez’s friends left the business, but he remained and continued drinking. When presented with his bill, totaling $67.27, Mr. Rodriguez was unable to pay due to his level of intoxication. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mr. Rodriguez then became disrespectful toward him and his staff, prompting him to call 911 for assistance.

Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised that he did not wish to press charges but wanted Mr. Rodriguez removed from the business.

Mr. Rodriguez was arrested and cited for Disorderly Conduct, with a bond amount of $350.00 and a court date set for 11/05/2025. He was transported to and released to the Liberty County Jail staff without incident.

The arrest and transport of Mr. Rodriguez followed department protocol. Mr. Rodriguez was searched, handcuffs were applied, checked for proper fit, and double-locked. He was placed in the back seat of Cpl Lamberth’s patrol vehicle and secured with a seat belt for transport. The vehicle was searched before and after transport with no contraband located.
