On February 27th, 2022, at appoximately 1200 hours I was dispatched to Fleming Baptist Church in reference to a white male who was trespassing in the Gym of the church. I arrived on scene at the church gym and made contact with Mr. [WITNESS #1]. He stated a male was inside the women’s bathroom and no one should be inside the building at all.

I approached the women’s bathroom and found Ryan Batchelor inside. I am very familiar with this subject and have had issues with him tresspassing on other propertys 3 or 4 times to date. Batchelor stated he was inside looking around the church donation room. He went on to explain he knew they were only open Tuesday and Thursday but he found the door open this afteroon after going to a church service. The other church members stated there was to be no one in the gym and it was known that it was closed.

I escorted Batchelor outside the building and informed him he was criminally trespassed from the property. I provided him a written and signed statement stating such. I called Deputy Martin to my location to transport Batchelor to his residence in Woodland Lakes. Per policy, he was searched for contraband. Before being searched he was asked if he had anything illegal on him and Batchelor replied, yes my pipe. Deputy Martin retrieved it from his front left pants pocket. I asked him what the pipe and metal rod found with it wered used for and he stated smoking meth.

Deputy Martin asked him when the last time he used and he stated an hour ago. I placed Batchelor in double locked handcuffs and checked them for fit. I informed him he was under arrest for drug related objects. I secured him in the back seat of Deputy Martins patrol car that he informed him he was under arrest for possession and use of drug related objects.

I secured the evidence in my patrol car and Deputy Martin transported him to the Liberty County Jail. He was turned over to the Booking staff with his property. I isssued one citation for possession and use of drug related objects. I used my K-9 to search the bathroom of the church Batchelor was found in to insure no contraband was left behind. None was found. All evidence with evidence log and report was turned into Detective Sanders.
