On April 25th, 2026 at approximately 0146 hours, I was observing traffic on E G Miles Parkway near Veterans Parkway. I observed a white Cadillac XTS (GA tag- [REDACTED]) with the tag lights not working properly drive past me. I activated my emergency blue lights, siren, and Axon cameras conducting a traffic stop. This stop was conducted in the WaWa gas station parking lot at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and E G Miles Parkway.

I made contact with the driver, identified as Salondia Stols, and asked to see her driver’s license. I observed bloodshot and watery eyes. Ms. Stols also had a very strong odor commonly associated with an alcoholic beverage coming from inside the vehicle. I asked Ms. Stols to exit the vehicle she complied. Once out of the vehicle, I asked Ms. Stols how much alcohol she had consumed. She advised me 3 Coronas. I asked Ms. Stols if she would participate in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, she agreed. Testing is as follows.

Prior to beginning each test, I placed Ms. Stols in the instructional phase and made sure she understood all the instructions.

Lack of Smooth Pursuit
Distinct and Sustained Nystagmus at maximum deviation
Onset Nystagmus prior to 45 degrees

I then requested Ms. Stols provide a breath sample in my portable breath tester and she agreed. I gathered a positive indication of ethyl alcohol on her breath (0.174).

Ms. Stols was placed under arrest for DUI and into double locked handcuffs which were checked for fit. Ms. Stols was read the Georgia Implied Consent Notice for suspects over the age of 21 from my green card. She agreed to the requested breath testing.

Ms. Stols was searched incident to arrest before being placed into the rear seat of my patrol vehicle, no contraband was found. I contacted Central 911 to send me the next list rotation wrecker service, Hinesville Towing later arrived on scene. I did conduct an inventory search of the vehicle and during that I located an empty Pabst Blue Ribbon beer can in the center console.

I transported Ms. Stols back to the Liberty County Jail where the breath test was completed. Ms. Stols measured BrAC was a (0.164). Ms. Stols was released to booking staff without incident. Ms. Stols was cited for DUI, Possession of Open Alcohol Container, and Tag Lights Required.

The rear seat of my patrol vehicle was searched before and after transport with no contraband found.
