FIRST APPEARANCE HEARING HELD — BOND SET FOR SHANELLE MONIQUE SCOTT

What this means: Shanelle Monique Scott appeared before Judge Jimmie R. Bomar of the Magistrate Court of Liberty County for her first appearance hearing on the day of her arrest. At that hearing, the court issued an Order for Bond under Case No. 260937591, covering two felony warrants (26-WF-007303C and 26-WF-007304C). The court set a combined bond of $11,000 total — with no cash option — backed by $22,000 in property. The bond breaks down as $5,500 per charge, each secured by $11,000 in property. The charges covered by the bond are Cruelty to Children – 2nd Degree (O.C.G.A. 16-5-70(E)(2)) and Involuntary Manslaughter – Felony (O.C.G.A. 16-5-3(a)). The bond order was signed on this date and later filed with the court on September 29, 2026. If Scott meets the bond conditions — meaning sufficient property is posted and approved by the Liberty County Sheriff — she may be released from custody while the case moves forward.
