On 07/22/2026 at 0203 hours, I was dispatched to [1000 BLOCK] Marne Blvd in reference to a domestic in progress. Prior to arrival, the complainant, Mr [VICTIM #1], stated his wife, Ms Sherri Sparks, was burning his items in the back yard. Earlier tonight Ofc Allen and I were previously out at this location in regards to a physical domestic, see CRN: 260730263.

Upon arrival, Cpl Thomas 147 and I could see a fire burning from the front yard. We made contact with Ms Sparks who stated none of Mr [VICTIM #1]’ items were burning. She stated she only started burning things because she would not be able to transport it back to Mississippi with her.

Mr [VICTIM #1] stated Ms Sparks was allowed to take whatever she wanted from the house but he did not give her permission to burn any of his items. Mr [VICTIM #1] stated a board game of his was in the fire pit; with a total cost of $40, his nintendo controller was in the fire pit; with a total cost of $50, and the dog bed for his son-in-law’s dog was burnt by the fire pit; with a total cost of $100.

Looking into the fire pit, I could see board game cards around the area and a chard dog bed near the fire pit. With this information, Ms Sparks was place under arrest for Criminal Trespass – FVA and Arson in the 3rd Degree. Ms Sparks was placed in handcuffs which were double locked and check for fit, searched with no relevant findings, and transported by Cpl Thomas to the Liberty County Jail were she was released to jail staff.

Warrants against Ms Sparks will be applied for in reference to this incident.
