On 03/01/26, at approximately 0040 hours, I was dispatched to the area of Black Willow Dr, later identified as [900 BLOCK] Black Willow Dr, in reference to a fight call. Central advised a large group of individuals was actively fighting in the area, and an unknown individual was hitting others with their vehicle.
Ofc Singleton 176 and I arrived on scene and I observed a 2010 Nissan Altima (Ga tag [REDACTED BY AGENCY]), with damage to the right front end, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Ofc Singleton, angled of to the left side of Back Willow Dr. As I exited my vehicle the driver, later identified as Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY], walking on the outside of her vehicle on the passenger side.
I made contact with Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY], who stated the vehicle was hers. Due to the information provided by central of a driver hitting individuals with a vehicle, Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was advised she was detained, placed in handcuffs, double locked, and checked for fit.
The vehicle was occupied by three other females, later identified as Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (15- years old), Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (15-years old), and Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. I advised Ms [REDACTED], Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY], and Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to exit the vehicle, and I advised the females they were detained.
I interviewed Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] away from the other three, as Ofc Singleton remained with the other three females. Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated her and the other three females were at a house party at [900 BLOCK] Black Willow Dr, when another group of females “jumped her and her friends. She stated she did not know who they were but did provide a first name of one of “[REDACTED BY AGENCY]” stating that was one of the females. Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she and the other females had “beef” over a male.
I asked Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] again if she knew the other females since she had beef with them, and again, she stated “no”. Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated during the fight, two males, later identified as Mr [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and Mr [REDACTED BY AGENCY], joined in and began fighting her and her friends. Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she was punched in the head/face area and Ofc Singleton and I observed small cuts with fresh blood on the left side of her face and a bloody nose. Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she did not know who struck her and caused her injuries. Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] refused EMS.
Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated the fight was broken up by the owner of the house, later identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. After the fight was over, Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and her friends left the residence and headed to her vehicle. As they drove off, the other females got into another vehicle and chased after them.
Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated the driver of the other vehicle intentionally turned in front of hers, impacting her vehicle in the front right bumper area. She stated the other females, one later identified as Ms Ta’Layshia Brown, got out and began punching the windows of her vehicle while yelling at them to “get out” and started throwing objects (glass bottle and a brick) at her vehicle. She stated her and her friends did not get out. Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] came over to the vehicle and told the other females to leave and not say anything, the police are on the way.
Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated they had been at the house party for approximately 20-30 minutes when a group of females came over to them and punched Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in her face. She stated the group then started fighting with her and she fought back. Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also stated both Mr [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and Mr [REDACTED BY AGENCY] got involved and started to fight her and her friends.
After the fight was broken up by Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY], they left the residence and returned to their vehicle and attempted to leave. She stated when they attempted to drive away, the other group of females got into another vehicle, reported to be a Beige Chevrolet Malibu, chased them down, hit their vehicle to stop it, got out yelling and throwing objects at their vehicle. She stated the females got back into their vehicle and drove away, leaving the scene.
While interviewing Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY], a female, later identified as Ms Ta’Layshia Brown, attempted to approach. She was stopped by Ofc Singleton, who gave her multiple lawful verbal commands to not approach and to back away. Ms Brown (Ta’Layshia) refused, continued to approach and began yelling profanity towards Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and the other three females. Ofc Singleton advised her she was detained and went to place her in handcuffs. Ms T. Brown tensed up and attempted to pull her arms away to prevent detention. I assisted Ofc Singleton in detaining Ms T. Brown in handcuffs.
See Ofc Singleton’s supplement for the detention of Ms T. Brown and the statements of the two males, Mr [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and Mr [REDACTED BY AGENCY].
I made contact with Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] via phone, who stated she had a birthday party for her son, not on scene and not involved in the incident, when two groups of female juveniles started fighting. She stated she separated the females and shut down the party. She advised everyone to go home. Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said she was not on scene due to her dropping a party guest off.
I interviewed Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] separately. Both stated they were at the party when a group of females came up and “jumped” Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. They both stated they were not involved with the fight. Both stated they left, got into their vehicle, and were driving away when the other group of females drove after them, hit their vehicle, got out yelling and throwing things at the vehicle. They said the other party got back into the other vehicle (Beige Chevrolet Malibu) after Ms [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised to leave the area, and they drove away. Both stated they did not know any of the names of the other’s involved.
During my investigation, all parties could not provide the name of the driver of the Beige Chevrolet Malibu.
Ms Ta’Layshia Brown was advised she was now under arrest for obstruction of an officer, city ordinance 12-1. Ms Brown was transported to the Liberty Jail (LCJ) by Ofc Singleton, where she was released to the custody of the LCJ and issued a citation for obstruction of an officer (city ordinance 12-1) and disorderly conduct (city ordinance 12-2).
All parties were advised on warrant procedures, and the juveniles were released to their respective parent(s)/guardians. The gray Nissan Altima was towed by Kevin’s towing at the request of the owner.
