On 05/03/2026 at 0245 hrs, Ofc Torres #154 and I were dispatched to 2475 W 196 Hwy W (Parkers) in reference to a follow up to a previous incident. While on scene I observed a white Dodge Charger (GA Tag: [REDACTED BY AGENCY]) that I identified as belonging to Tiffany Amos pull into the parking lot of Parkers.

I was familiar with Ms. Amos due to a recent call around 0130 hours where I responded to her residence due to her not being able to find her phone. During that encounter, Ms. Amos was heavily intoxicated and admitted to being drunk. She stated it was okay for her to be drunk because she was inside her residence consuming alcohol. Ms. Amos advised she had several drinks and was upset due to her mother’s recent passing. After solving Ms. Amos’ issue, I departed the residence without further issue.

Due to Ms. Amos’ heavily intoxicated state when I spoke with her approximately 45 minutes ago, I advised Ofc Torres take Ms. Amos into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol. Ms. Amos was ordered out of the vehicle and placed in handcuffs. Ms. Amos had a overwhelming odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath. She had slurred speech, bloodshot and glossy eyes, and was unsteady on her feet while standing and walking. Ms. Amos was read implied consent and agreed to provide a breath sample.

Ms. Amos’ vehicle was released to a friend on scene [REDACTED BY AGENCY] per Ms. Amos’ request.

Ms. Amos was transported to the Hinesville Police Department to provide a breath sample. SPO Riner #125 attempted to obtain a breath sample from Ms. Amos but was unable to complete the process due to her refusing to follow directions.

The intoxilyzer 9000 machine was able to detect the presence of alcohol in Ms. Amos’ incomplete sample (0.163) BRAC.

Ms. Amos was transported to the Liberty County Jail and cited for DUI Less Safe (refusal). She was also issued a DD1205.

Note: While on scene at the Liberty County Jail, Ms. Amos advised SPO Riner the reason she could not give a proper sample was due to him not explaining the process well enough for a drunk person to understand fully.
