[NARRATIVE #1 on July 03, 2026]
Vehicle 2 was stopped in the Eastbound Lane on Glenn Bryant Road at the stop sign at the intersection of Charles C Frasier Boulevard when it was struck by vehicle 1. Vehicle 1 was traveling eastbound in the Westbound Lane of Glenn Bryant Road. Vehicle 1 passed vehicle 2 and made a right turn onto Charles C Frasier Boulevard without stopping at the stop sign and struck vehicle 2.
Driver 2 said he was stopped in the Eastbound Lane on Glenn Bryant Road at the stop sign at the intersection of Charles C Frasier Boulevard. He said vehicle 1 proceeded to pass his vehicle traveling eastbound in the Westbound Lane. He said vehicle 1 made a right turn from the Westbound Lane of Glenn Bryant Road onto Charles C Frasier Boulevard without stopping at the stop sign and struck the front of his vehicle.
He said after impact vehicle 1 continued southbound on Charles C Frasier Boulevard and turned onto Desert Storm Drive. He said he followed vehicle 1 and observed vehicle 1 turn onto Tomahawk Trail from Desert Storm Drive. He said vehicle 1 was traveling at a high rate of speed and swerving all over the road on Tomahawk Trail. He said vehicle 1 turned around in the cul-de-sac on Tomahawk Trail and traveled back down Tomahawk Trail and made a right turn onto Desert Storm Drive. He said he lost sight of vehicle 1 and did not see it again until he came up to the crash scene at [1400 BLOCK] Desert Storm Drive.
Driver 1 said he did not hit another vehicle and stated he could not recall anything else.
The investigation revealed driver 1 was driving on the wrong side of the road, was passing in a no passing zone, failed to stop at a stop sign, made an improper right turn, left the scene of an accident involving an occupied vehicle, was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (less safe) and was driving recklessly as per Georgia Codes 40-6-40, 40-6-46, 40-6-72, 40-6-120, 40-6-270, 40-6-391(A)(1) and 40-6-390.

[NARRATIVE #2 on July 12, 2026]
On 07/12/2026 at 0943 hrs, Scpl Roberts #156, Cpl Davila #168 and Ofc Spears made contact with Mr Vejie Laurent at his residence in reference to this original case. Mr Laurent was informed about his warrants and placed under arrest. He was secured in handcuffs (double locked and checked for fit) and searched incident to arrest, no contraband was found. Mr Laurent was secured (seat belt fastened) in the rear of Cpl Davila’s patrol vehicle and transported to the Liberty County Jail. He was released to the jail staff to await a bond hearing.
