On 01/24/2026 I Deputy J. Fife was dispatched to [4700 BLOCK] Hudson Rivers Church Rd. Danielsville Ga. 30633, in regards to a physical domestic dispute.
Upon arrival I made contact with the complainant and [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was shaking, crying, and appeared to be scared. Deputies observed redness on the left side of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] face. The complainant was [REDACTED BY AGENCY] other son [REDACTED BY AGENCY], who had not been home when the physical incident had taken place.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that at some point during the day his mother, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and his brother Chad Drake had got into a verbal altercation that turned physical. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that his mother [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was to scared to call Law Enforcement, because she did not want her son to go to jail.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] began explaining to Deputies what had occurred. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that around 1500-1600 hours today she had began to prepare to cook dinner. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] lived in the residence with her as well and her son Chad was in a relationship with [REDACTED BY AGENCY].
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that a verbal altercation broke out between her and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] regarding making a mess in the kitchen. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that a verbal altercation then began between her and [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. At some point during the argument Chad picked up a pot.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that Chad then hit [REDACTED BY AGENCY] twice in the head with the pot. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that when she attempted to help [REDACTED BY AGENCY] up off the floor Chad with an open hand smacked her across the face.
Throughout Deputies interaction while speaking with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] on scene she was shaking, crying, and visibly distraught. While on scene after closer observataon, Deputies observed redness on the left side of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] face/cheek area and what appeared to be redness and purple bruising. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] informed Deputies that Chad was at the rear of the residence in van parked in the back yard.
Deputies proceeded to the rear of the residence to attempt to make contact with Chad. As Deputies approached the van Chad stepped out of the vehicle, along with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Deputies began asking Chad what happened. Chad said something along the lines of there had been an argument between him and his mother, but it was resolved now.
Deputies asked if at any time had the argument turned physical and Chad said no. Deputies asked Chad if he hit his mother and he said no, and when Deputies told Chad she had marks on her face he said no she doesn’t. Chad was then placed in handcuffs placed behind his back, checked for it, and double locked. Chad began yelling that he had not done nothing, Chad was informed why he was under arrest. Chad asked if he could speak with me, and I responded yes and read him the Miranda Warning.
When I asked Chad having these rights in mind do you wish to talk to us now, Chad responded no and asked for a cigarette. Chad was searched prior to being placed in the rear of my patrol vehicle. I ensured that the air was on and cracked the rear window.
Deputies made their way back up to the residence to collect all parties involved information. I spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] outside of the residence. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that she knew there was a verbal argument but she went outside and did not see anything. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] began yelling at Chad in the rear of my patrol vehicle in regards to calling someone to bail him out of jail. I then proceeded inside the residence.

I checked the handcuffs for fit and ensured they were not to tight, in which they were not. I informed Chad to lay side ways in the seat.
