On 10/9/2025 at approximately 11:25 PM. Deputy Mitchell and Deputy Shelton responded to [3700 BLOCK] Adair Rd. Dearing, Ga 30808, in reference to an Assault.

Upon arrival, I located [VICTIM #1] standing in the roadway, next to his truck. The right side of his face had suffered from moderate bleeding, coming from his nose, mouth, and a laceration on his right cheek. [VICTIM #1] stated he got a text from [REDACTED], who lived at [3700 BLOCK] Adair rd. Dearing, Ga 30808, to come over so they could talk and work things out. [VICTIM #1] acknowledged and agreed to meet her on the shoulder of the roadway.

Once [VICTIM #1] arrived, he saw who he believed was a John Ingles subject at the residence next door. After being parked for approximately 10-15 minutes, he said he watched this subject approach his truck and begin yelling at [VICTIM #1], then shattered his driver’s window with what [VICTIM #1] described as a large stick, then began striking [VICTIM #1] in the head region multiple times. Once [VICTIM #1] stated he was calling the cops, the John subject fled the scene. EMS arrived to clean [VICTIM #1] up and dress his wounds. [VICTIM #1] refused transport to the hospital for further evaluation.

I informed [VICTIM #1] that we would make a report on the incident and that I thought it would be best for him to cut ties with this [REDACTED] subject, and to go home for the night and get some rest.
