On January 25, 2025 at 1938 I responded to [500 BLOCK] Mendel avenue (Rollingwood apartments) apt [REDACTED] in reference to a domestic distrubance.
On arrival, a resident of the home, Tyquavious Sinkfield, stated that while at home, an argument began between himself and his girlfriend over a video taken without his permission. Two individuals identified as family members of Tyquavious Sinkfield were present. While collecting basic information from the individuals, a group of females, assumed to be involved in the incident, began to approach the males in an aggressive manner, yelling loud verbal insults. Tyquavious Sinkfield began to respond to the females while myself and other officers were caught in the middle of the altercation. While attempting to diffuse the situation, a female made a comment toward Tyquavious Sinkfield. His reaction was to attempt to lunge past officers. With this, myself, Officers McRee and Powell detained the three males.
While trying to detain the three individuals, Tyquavious Sinkfield was shielding an individual he stated was his little brother. Officer McRee grabbed Tyquavious, I detained the male referred to as his little brother, [REDACTED], and Officer Powell detained the third male, who they stated was their cousin. During this, the group of females continued berating the males and then began attempting to antagonize them. While escorting the males to our patrol vehicles to be further detained, the females left the scene and did not return.
[REDACTED] was given a verbal trespass warning for the Rollingwood Apartments and advised not to involve himself in Tyquavious Sinkfield’s domestic matters. [REDACTED] was escorted off the property by his mother in his personal vehicle.
