On 5/23/2026 at approximately 2132 hours, Forsyth Police officers were dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Jenay Court, located within the jurisdiction of Forsyth, Georgia, in reference to a large group of people in the Cul de sac, actively fighting. Multiple patrol units did respond to the incident location, in emergency mode with blue lights and sirens activated. Upon arrival there was a silver SUV parked at the end of the driveway to [100 BLOCK] Jenay Court and there was also a black SUV parked behind that SUV near the driveway and partially in the road.

I observed over a dozen male and black female subjects arguing, aggressively grabbing each other, and boisterously, yelling and cursing at one another. As I was approaching the individuals, I observed Officer Rodgers with a black male subject in handcuffs and escorting the male to a patrol vehicle. The male had removed his shirt, and was excessively yelling, cursing, and was verbally stating he was about to fight someone at the [100 BLOCK] address. Once that male was secured I stood by at the patrol vehicle with the detained subject and began to over see the continued incident progressing.

I observed Officer Manning attempting to place a black male into custody. Once Officer Manning placed his hands on the male’s wrist, a group of females began yelling, cursing and attempted to prevent Officer Manning from placing the male into custody. I ran to Officer Mannings location and as I was closing the distance. I observed a black female with blonde hair, grabbing Officer Manning and attempted to pull Officer Manning away from the male. I grabbed the female and placed her on the ground.

The black male was then turned around and as Officer Manning was attempting to place the male into custody, he began actively resisting. The male tightened his forearms and refused to place his arms behind his back. The male was told he was under arrest and to place his hands behind his back. The male once again refused and continued to lock his forearms forward. I told the male he would be charged with felony obstruction if he did not comply with lawful orders.

The male then loosened his forearms and placed his arms behind his back. The male was then escorted to a marked patrol vehicle and secured in the rear seat. I then proceeded to locate the black female, who had previously attempted to prevent Officer Manning from detaining the male. I located the female in the rear seat of the black SUV. The female was removed from the vehicle and placed under arrest for obstruction. The female was escorted to a marked patrol vehicle and was secured, until further investigation could be completed.

Upon further investigation, the first male that was detained was identified as [JUVENILE #1], D.O.B [REDACTED], and the black female was identified as [JUVENILE #2], D.O.B [REDACTED]. Both subjects were juveniles and were both from North Carolina. There were also three more subjects who were placed under arrest. Demir Thomas, D.O.B [REDACTED], and his brother Stantaviane Zellner, D.O.B [REDACTED], and also Jermiah Bridges, D.O.B [REDACTED]. It was later discovered that [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] were driving the group of individuals to a Memorial Day vacation.

I was able to contact [JUVENILE #2]’s father [REDACTED] who stated he lives in Raleigh North Carolina, and his daughter was with friends going on a vacation for the holiday weekend. [REDACTED] was advised his daughter was going to be charged with obstruction and [REDACTED] stated due to him being in North Carolina. He wanted his daughter to be released to her friend’s mother. I then spoke with [REDACTED], who is the mother of [JUVENILE #1], Demir, and Stantaviane. [REDACTED] was advised all three of her sons were going to be charged and due to [JUVENILE #1] being a juvenile he was going to be charged in juvenile court.

[REDACTED] stated she wanted her son to be released to [REDACTED], due to her ([REDACTED]) being in North Carolina also. Upon conducting further interviews it was discovered the entire altercation started with Jeremiah Bridges, punching a younger juvenile. Per Stantaviane, he did not think that was right and he wanted the younger juvenile, who was only identified as [REDACTED] to be able to get his “lick” back from Jeremiah. Once Stantaviane stated that within listening distance to Jeremiah.

Jeremiah became irate and began to clinch his fist and began to yell curse words at Stantaviane and appeared to want to fight Stantaviane. It was later revealed that all the males who were in custody were related. We were never able to speak with the younger juvenile, who was identified as [REDACTED]. Stantaviane, Demir, Jermiah, were all charged with city ordinance violations and were transported to the Monroe County jail. Juvenile complaint forms were completed for [JUVENILE #1] and for [JUVENILE #2]. During the previous altercation with [JUVENILE #2] and [JUVENILE #1], I did loose my body camera from being bumped by one of the subjects. I also spoke with [JUVENILE #2] before leaving the scene of the incident.

I asked her if she needed an ambulance and she declined medical attention. All three adult males were transported to the Monroe County jail and were released to the custody of the jail staff. Demir did complain of handcuff tightness and once officers on scene were able, the handcuffs were loosened. Approximately an hour later I drove back over to Jenay Court in an attempt to locate my body camera but was unsuccessful.

At approximately 0550 hours, I did receive a call from [REDACTED] stating that one of her sons, may have left his cell phone in the back of one of the patrol cars. I checked with the officers that were on scene and Officer Minut located the phone. The phone was given back to the owner. Due to the nature of the incident, command staff were notified.

On 5/24/2026 a concerned citizen did recover my body camera and returned it to the police department with minor damage.
