On Wednesday, August 19th, 2026, Sergeant Thompson was called via radio by Deputy Hawkins, requesting I be en route to her location which was [200 BLOCK] Pickney Circle. Once I arrived on scene, I made contact with Deputy Hawkins where she briefed me on what had occurred.
Deputy Hawkins stated she arrived at [200 BLOCK] Pickney Circle to serve a warrant on Xavier Johnson. The address on the warrant was [200 BLOCK] Pickney Circle Forsyth, Ga 31029. Deputy Hawkins stated Johnson’s vehicle was in the driveway, and the door was opened as they approached the door, someone shut the door in their face. Deputy Hawkins stated she knocked on the door, and a female opened the door and stated, “I didn’t do that” and Deputy Hawkins advised the female she had a warrant for Johnson. The female shut the door and locked it. Deputy Hawkins advised she could smell the strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the residence. Deputy Hawkins and Deputy Middle brooks both stated, while standing on the front porch they could hear running around inside and could hear rustling around like someone inside was in a panic.
Lieutenant Campfield walked up on the front porch and knocked on the door and stated, “Sheriff’s Office, open the door.” A female answered from inside the residence and stated she was not opening the door and get a warrant. Lieutenant Campfield again advised the female to open the door; we had a warrant for Johnson and needed to serve the warrant. The odor of marijuana was still coming from inside the residence. Due to the totality of the circumstances at stake, we made entry into the residence. Once inside the residence a female Khaisei Clemons was located standing in the living room. A sweep of the residence was conducted. Inside a closet in the first bedroom on the right Xavier Johnson was located hidden in a closet by Lieutenant Campfield. Both Clemons and Johnson were arrested and brought outside of the residence.
Investigator Ortiz typed a search warrant due to the odor of marijuana coming from inside the residence. The warrant was signed through the Monroe County Magistrate Court and was executed on the residence.
