On August 31st, 2025, at approximately 2133 hours, I Ofc. Denmark responded in emergency mode with my patrol vehicle equipment activated, blue lights, and sirens to [100 BLOCK] W Johnston street in reference to a domestic problem. Upon arrival, I activated my body-worn camera and made verbal contact with the complainant, Ms. [WITNESS #1].

She advised that Mrs. [VICTIM #1] invited her and a couple of other people over to swim and have drinks. She stated after a couple of hours, she called her daughter to bring her some dry clothes and once she got there, Mr. Matthew Meadows, husband of Mrs. [VICTIM #1] came outside yelling and getting in their face’s. Ms. [WITNESS #1] also stated that Mr. Meadows intentionally pushed her other friend, Ms. [VICTIM #2] and Mrs. [VICTIM #1].

After speaking with Ms. [VICTIM #2], she advised that after she was told by Mr. Meadows to “get the fu*k off my property” she went up to the mailbox and told her friends to come get the clean clothes from up there. Thats when Mr. Meadows got in her face screaming about how they were white trash and other things. She stated after she responded with “dude you’re not going to keep talking to me like that” he pushed her and kept coming at her. Afterwards, Ms. [WITNESS #1] called the police.

I attempted to speak with Mrs. [VICTIM #1], but she stated he didn’t do anything and wanted the situation to just go away.

After asking both, Mrs. [VICTIM #1] and Ms. [VICTIM #2] if they wanted to press charges, Mrs. [VICTIM #1] stated no and Ms. [VICTIM #2] stated yes. I then placed Mr. Meadows into handcuffs with his hands behind his back, double locked, and checked for fit. While walking back to my patrol vehicle, Mr. Meadows looked over to the group of people and said “you are all fu*king white trash.” He was then secured into the back of my patrol vehicle and transported to Monroe County Detention and charged with the following…
