On 12/06/2025, at approximately 2000 hours, I Officer Maranville, responded to 480 Holiday Circle, Red Roof Inn Hotel. In reference to a disturbance. The caller stated that she could hear a female screaming in distress and a child crying and a male yelling aggressively.

Upon arrival on scene, I observed a female screaming. I then located the screaming coming from the front of the hotel lobby. I then made contact with the female subject later identified as [VICTIM #1] and her small child. [VICTIM #1] was physically upset and crying and repeatedly stated he is just drunk and needs to calm down. At that point I observed the male subject in the parking lot jumping around and yelling and using obscene language.

Upon making contact with the male I instructed him to stop and come to me. The male complied and I placed him in handcuffs to detain him during the investigation. Upon placing him in handcuffs he attempted to pull away. Officer Denmark then arrived and assisted getting the male subject to my patrol vehicle to separate him from the female. Upon escorting the male subject to the vehicle, he attempted to snatch away and refused to walk. Once at the patrol vehicle hand cuffs were checked for fit and tightness then he was placed in the back seat of the patrol vehicle. While in the patrol vehicle the male subject continued to yell and hit his head against the window. The male subject was then identified as Nicholas Willis.

Upon speaking with [VICTIM #1] she stated that her and Willis had been involved in a argument. Due to Willis wanting to leave with their son. [VICTIM #1] would not allow Willis to leave with the child due to him being intoxicated, at that time Willis became angry and started fighting with [VICTIM #1].

Due to the circumstances of the incident Willis was arrested for disorderly conduct 15-8, subsection (1,4,8,10,11). Willis was then transported to Monroe County Detention Center, where he was then released to Monroe County Detention Center.
