Officer’s Narrative:

On Thursday, August the 7th, at approximately 20:02 hours I, Sgt. Pierce, was dispatched on a call involving a child molestation with an address within the city limits of Chatsworth. The address listed was [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and dispatch advised that the caller was in Tennessee, and I would need to call her phone. I then called the number provided and began speaking with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] explained that she lived in Athens, Tennessee but her brother, Daniel Calhoun, lived at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in Chatsworth, Georgia. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Daniel’s wife, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] left Daniel about a week and a half ago due to finding out that Daniel was sexually abusing [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that she had heard from her sister that she needed to talk to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] because [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was saying that Daniel [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had gotten into contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and another ex-girlfriend of Daniel who had been talking to each other about the situation. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that she was told that [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] then went on to say that right after she initially called 911, Daniel called her. Daniel began telling [REDACTED BY AGENCY] that he did not do anything and to not tell anyone. Daniel also told [REDACTED BY AGENCY] that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had texted him, Daniel, and told him to run because the police were getting called. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] expressed that she was not sure if this was true or if [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was just bitter that Daniel had cheated on her but went on to say that Daniel had a history of sleeping with younger women.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that the family was already concerned when Daniel brought [REDACTED BY AGENCY] due to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] being 17 at the time and Daniel being 27 years old. She stated that they knew Daniel had already slept with other 15-and 16-year-old girls in the past. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that she does not have physical proof that Daniel had slept with 15- and 16-year-old girls besides what she had been told by those girls. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that every girl that Daniel shows interest in appears to look very young in age and that all of them are at least 10 years younger than him. I asked where the [REDACTED BY AGENCY]

I continued to gather as much information as I could from [REDACTED BY AGENCY] I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] there were any addresses that Daniel may go to. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that he may go to their mother’s house in Charleston but highly doubted it. She also mentioned another woman who Daniel had a child with who lived in Arkansas, but [REDACTED BY AGENCY] only had a phone number for her.

I then went to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in an attempt to contact Daniel. The only vehicle in the driveway was a black Porsche Cayenne with a temporary Tennessee plate on it. I knocked several times on the door and did not receive an answer. I then tried to call Daniel’s phone number multiple times but also did not receive an answer. At that point I called [REDACTED BY AGENCY], who answered the phone.

I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to explain the whole situation to me. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] explained that she and Daniel had been together since she was 17 years old. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was 20 years old at the time of this incident. She stated that they got together just after her mother passed away. She went on to say that Daniel had cheated on her several times in the past and also once very recently, so she had been going through his phone. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said about a week and a half ago [REDACTED BY AGENCY]

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] then went on to say that after she saw the messages that she and Daniel had gotten into an argument over it and that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] would say that nothing happened. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that she then went back to Daniel and got into another verbal argument over this which resulted in [REDACTED BY AGENCY] punching Daniel in the mouth. I asked when all of this transpired, and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that it was sometime in June. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also said that she ordered cameras for inside the residence that same day and has since had cameras inside. The next day [REDACTED BY AGENCY] went back up to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and inquired more about the alleged sexual actions and then [REDACTED BY AGENCY] denied it. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then said that after all of thig she finally left a couple days ago and is now staying out in Arkansas for fear [REDACTED BY AGENCY] as she alleged that he threated to kill her.

I then asked what all vehicles Daniel has. She stated that he has a black 2005 BMW 750 Series, a black Porsche Cayenne, and a red 2025 Kia K4. She said he typically drives the Kia K4. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] went on to say that Daniel threatened to shoot her and her brother’s house where [REDACTED BY AGENCY] is currently staying because his life would be ruined anyway. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said this is why she was scared to reach out to law enforcement. She also said that she had received a picture of Daniel in the vehicle with a gun to his head [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] why she would give Daniel the heads up about law enforcement and give him ideas on where to go. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] called her and called her a bad mother and some other things for not telling anyone about what had happened back in June. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said she sent the screenshots to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who in turn called Daniel and told him that she was coming to get his kids from him. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that Daniel then called her and began getting mad and asking [REDACTED BY AGENCY] why she was telling others about this. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said she lied to Daniel and said that she hadn’t told anyone, but Daniel hung up the phone and had not talked to her since. I then gathered as much information from [REDACTED BY AGENCY] as I could and provided her with my information to send me the screenshots she had.
