On Thursday October 02, 2025 at approximately 1847 hours, I Officer Jinright, with the Chatsworth Police Department Patrol Division, was dispatched to 707 Old Dalton Ellijay Road (Advent Health Murray) Chatsworth, Murray County, Georgia in reference to a male subject being intoxicated and disorderly.

Upon arrival I made contact with, [WITNESS #1], a hospital employee, who said that he was observing a juvenile psych patient and David Weaver was in the room next to her. Mr. [WITNESS #1] said that the Murray County Sheriff’s Office brought Mr. Weaver in because he was intoxicated and “feeling lonely”. Mr. [WITNESS #1] said that Mr. Weaver denied any treatment from the provider. Mr. [WITNESS #1] said that the hospital discharged Mr. Weaver and then called the Murray County Sheriff’s Office to see if they would give Mr. Weaver a ride back to his residence.

Mr. [WITNESS #1] told me that the reply was that they would not be taking Mr. Weaver back home. Mr. [WITNESS #1] said that while they were trying to locate Mr. Weaver a ride, he took Mr. [WITNESS #1]’s food. Mr. [WITNESS #1] said that Mr. Weaver was also acting belligerent hitting the walls and windows in the room in which he occupied. Mr. [WITNESS #1] said that Mr. Weaver started yelling profane language, which scared his juvenile psych patient.

[WITNESS #2] a nurse at the hospital said that Mr. Weaver was being extremely disorderly. After gaining all statements and making sure that Mr. Weaver was discharged, I went into his room and placed him into handcuffs, double locked them, and checked them for fit.

Mr. Weaver was transported to the Murray County Jail where he was charged on Uniform Traffic Citation for Disorderly Conduct.
