On 12/21/2025 at 0854, I Deputy Weaver along with Sfc. Amos responded to [1100 BLOCK] Center Hill Church Road due to [VICTIM #1] having a $200.00 chicken killed by his neighbor Jesus Gonzalez’s white dog.

When arriving I spoke with [VICTIM #1] and he stated that this is not the first time this has occurred and that Jesus has been told multiple times to keep his dog contained. I then went and make contact with Jesus and asked him if he has a large white dog and he said yes, I then advised him it has killed his neighbors chickens and needs to be put back up.

I then went to my patrol car and wrote Jesus two citations for animals at large and animals destroying property. I then had Jesus sign the citation’s and when getting back in to my patrol car and was updating the call log, Sfc. Amos then advised me over the radio that they are starting to get in to it down here. (talking about Jesus and a Patrick Cochran).

Myself and Sfc. Amos started to back down Jesus driveway and that is when I seen both Jesus and Patrick yelling at each other and then Patrick throw is arm up in a fighting stance and act like he was going to close fist punch Jesus. I then jumped out of my patrol car and seen Patrick again throw his arm up in a fighting stance and act like he was going to close fist punch Jesus.

I then advised both subjects to place there hands behind there back. While I was cuffing Jesus I was also advising Patrick to place his hands behind his back and he made the comment no and that I am not going to jail. I then very sternly advised him again to place his hands behind his back. At that time Patrick then obeyed my lawful order I was giving him.

Both subject was placed in patrol cars, I then spoke with Sfc. Amos and he said that he heard someone yelling and seen Patrick walking up to Jesus. (all parties live on the same drive way but there are multiple residences on the same drive). Patrick walked up from the first residence on the right (Jesus’s residence is the second one on the left on the driveway).

I then spoke with Jesus and asked him what happened and he said he was walking down the drive way trying to find his dog that was loose to put it back up when Patrick walked up the drive way and started cussing him out about his dogs. Jesus was un-detained at this time. I then transported Patrick to the Murray County Detention Center.

Patrick will be charged for disorderly conduct for his use of obscene and vulgar language which was breach of the peace, simple battery for drawing his arm and fist back acting like he was going to close fist punch Jesus and wilful obstruction of a law enforcement officer for refusing to obey a lawful order which was to place your hands behind your back.
