[NARRATIVE #1 on October 12, 2025]
On 10/12/2025 at 15:22 I Corporal Pitts and Deputy T Leonard were dispatched to the veterans Park in Chatsworth Ga. in reference to a private property vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, I spoke to [VICTIM #1] and she stated that she was parked in the second row of parking spots facing the playground in the back of the veterans park. [VICTIM #1] stated that a male in a white passenger car that was parked in front of the playground, backed up rapidly and hit the front end of her car with the rear of his car. [VICTIM #1] stated that the male then put the car in drive and left the park without speaking to her. [VICTIM #1] described the male as having black hair, glasses, and he was possibly in his late 20’s.
I advised [VICTIM #1] that all information given would be forwarded to detectives.

[NARRATIVE #2 on October 14, 2025]
On Tuesday October 14, 2025 I, Detective Josh Malone, was assigned to a case in reference to a hit and run accident at Veteran’s Park located at 651 Hyden Tyler Road in Chatsworth, Ga. According to the report written by Deputy Jason Pitts, a white in color passenger car backed into a 2015 Nissan Sentra that belonged to [VICTIM #1]. The report stated that the male, who was wearing glasses and had black hair, drove off after striking the parked car.
I sent an email to our local Murray County Government IT department and was able to gain camera footage from the day of the incident. In the video I was able to watch a male, matching the given description, get into an older model white Ford Mustang, sat there for a moment in the parking spot, put the car in reverse, backed up, struck the Nissan, turned around to see if anyone noticed, looked at the car he struck, and then drove off from the scene.
I then utilized our FLOCK camera system and was able to see the same vehicle in question a white 1992 Ford Mustang bearing Georgia license plate [REDACTED] coming into the Chatsworth City Limits at 2nd Avenue and Old Federal Road North. A GCIC query on the vehicle showed the vehicle belonging to Mr. Patrick Holden of [400 BLOCK] Kirby Young Road Lot [REDACTED] in Murray County, Ga. After confirming the identity of the driver as matching the picture from both the driver’s license and personal Facebook page for Mr. Holden, a warrant for Hit and Run was applied for through the Murray County Magistrate Court.
After obtaining the warrant, I asked Deputy Justin Vannoy to check the address. Himself and Deputy Marissa Elrod went to the last known address for Mr. Holden, where he was located, and then subsequently arrested. Upon his arrival at the jail, I met with Mr. Holden in the booking area. He was read his Miranda Rights and spoke with me about the incident.
After showing him the video of the incident, he apologized for his actions. It was explained to him that if he would have simply stayed on the scene, he wouldn’t be in jail, and he wouldn’t have even received a ticket. After speaking with him, Patrick was turned back over to the jail staff without incident. Ms. [VICTIM #1] was also informed of the case being closed and she could get the necessary report within a few days.
