On Friday October 10, 2025 at approximately 2122 hours, I Officer Jinright, with the Chatsworth Police Department Patrol Division, was dispatched to 412 Treadwell Road (Murray Lodge) Chatsworth, Murray County, Georgia, in reference to a non domestic disturbance.

While en route, I was told by the City Dispatcher, that the call taker could hear a female yelling at the caller. When I arrived on scene I saw two females standing in the parking lot. One female was talking loudly at the other. I asked what had happened and both females started talking. I explained that I could only hear one at a time, and [VICTIM #1] said that she was the one that called. I asked [VICTIM #1] to walk with me to the back of my patrol car and asked her what happened.

[VICTIM #1] said that she went out and fed the neighborhood cats and took some trash to the dumpster. [VICTIM #1] said that Shawna Jones was standing on the top floor of the complex and started yelling at her as [VICTIM #1] was walking to the dumpster. [VICTIM #1] said that Shawna started using profane language to her and came downstairs and approached her in an abrasive manner. [VICTIM #1] said that Shawna was mad because Shawna said that [VICTIM #1] was mean to her son. Shawna, who was extremely intoxicated, continued to yell and curse at [VICTIM #1] and continued to approach her. [VICTIM #1] said that as soon as Shawna started yelling her she called Murray County 9-1-1.

I went and tried to speak to Shawna, but due to her level intoxication she could not explain what had transpired. After gaining all statements and being told that the call taker at dispatch heard Shawna yelling at [VICTIM #1], I placed Shawna under arrest. Shawna had a cut on one of her toes and could not explain how it happened. I transported Shawna to the Murray County Jail.

When I arrived at the Jail, the Jail Staff saw Shawna’s toe and said that before they would accept her, she would have to medically cleared at Advent Health Murray. I put Shawna back in my patrol vehicle and transported her to Advent Health Murray where her toe was treated. After treatment I transported Shawna back to the Murray County Jail, where she was charged on a Uniform Traffic Citation for Disorderly Conduct.
