On Saturday, September 3rd 2022, at approximately 1420 hours I, Officer Eric Stracener (3B19), and Officer B. Hunter (3B21), were dispatched to the area of River Road and Manchester in reference to a vehicle that was stolen in Newnan being GPS tracked to this location.

Police were contacted in reference to tracking a stolen vehicle from Coweta County. The vehicle was pinging on River Road. Police investigated and found that vehicle traveling North on River Road near the intersection with Manchester Expressway. Police initiated a traffic stop and subject refused to comply and fled in the stolen vehicle. Police pursued and Subject wrecked the stolen vehicle in the yard of [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Cascade Road striking the mailbox and a street sign along the way. Subject was arrested and transported to Piedmont for jail clearance. Subject was cleared and transported to the County Jail pending a Recorder’s Court date of 09/05/2022 at 0800 hours.
