On Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at approximately 0800 hours Deputy E. Nesbitt of the Newton County Georgia Sheriff’s Office responded to Eastside High Schoo A hall restroon to assist assistant principal Mr. [REDACTED]. Mr [REDACTED] had call for the school nurse and and school custodain to come to the restroom.
Deputy Nesbitt got the the A hall restroom first and notice that Mr. [REDACTED] was out with an Eastside High School student. The student was holding a knife in his right hand. Deputy Nesbitt pull out his Sheriff’s depertment issued taser and told the student to put the knife in the resrroom sink. The student put the knife in the restroom sink. Deputy Nesbitt then put the student in handcuffs.
