On March 13, 2026, Investigator Moss along with Corporal McFarlin (9275) and Deputy Brenton (9107) responded to an aggravated assault incident that occurred on Blue Grass Way involving Matthew Wallace and several residents of a nearby residence.
The victims reported that Wallace was parked in the roadway when they passed him in a pickup truck. As they arrived at their residence, Wallace exited his vehicle and displayed a handgun, pointing it toward the occupants of the truck. The victims stated they feared for their safety.
Investigator Moss later made contact with Wallace regarding the incident. Wallace stated that he had been stopped in the roadway after dropping a vape pen and that the residents passed him while he was retrieving it. Wallace also stated that he later drove past the residence and recorded a video.
Investigator Moss reviewed the video and observed Wallace holding a handgun while driving past the residence.
