On Friday, August 28, 2026, I responded to a possible kidnapping at [REDACTED].

Upon arrival, I met with Ms. Menzies. She stated that earlier that morning, she went to the residence to speak with her boyfriend, Mr. Walker, and an argument occurred. During the argument, a female, Keiary Edwards, picked up Ms. Menzies’ one-year-old daughter, [VICTIM #1], ran out the door with her, got into a black BMW, and drove away.

Ms. Menzies provided her boyfriend’s full name and date of birth, her daughter’s name and date of birth, and Ms. Edwards’ address and phone number.

After I ran Charone Walker’s name and date of birth, he also returned with an active warrant.

Investigator Alberto advised that she had contacted Ms. Edwards and that Ms. Edwards was in route to the Newton County Sheriff’s Office with the juvenile.
