On 06/15/2026, I Deputy Williams and Deputy Mitchell was dispatch to a discharge gun call at the Shell Gas Station approximately at 1455 hrs at 5890 Salem Rd.

Upon arrival I spoke with the cashier who advised they did not call for service. Soon after departing the store, dispatch advised that the correct address was 3538 Salem Rd. Myself, and Deputy Michelle and Deputy Holcombe started towards 3538 Salem Road. While enroute Deputy Mitchell activated his emergency equipment. Upon arrival Cpl. Bell and Deputy Floyd were on scene.

Deputy Holcombe went inside the store and was speaking with Deputy Floyd and Cpl. Bell and went to view the video footage Jones and Deputy Mitchell put caution tape around the crime scene. After my Supervisor arrived on scene, they determined that I would be the primary Deputy on scene.

After speaking with Deputy Holcombe, I went into the back office and reviewed the surveillance footage with Sgt. Detweiler/ and Investigator Alberto. After reviewing the video footage, I saw 3 black males and 1 black female, who were later identified as offenders enter the store and went to the left inside the store. One male and one female enter the store shortly after the offenders. The unknown male walked straight and paused. As soon as he looked toward the four offenders, one of the offenders began shooting and the victim and female victim ran outside the store. The male and female drove off in a gray Nissan. The four offenders left the store and entered into a blue Chevy Malibu and drove toward Kirkland Rd.

I interviewed 3 witnesses that stated that they did not see anyone but heard 1 to 2 gunshots and they went to the floor toward the back office.
