[NARRATIVE #1 on April 03, 2026]

On 4/3/2026, at approximately 1428, I, Dep. Glenn responded to the parking lot of Five Below at 1791 Oconee Connector, regarding a hit-and-run. The complainant told me that a newer model Chevrolet Silverado bearing the license plate [REDACTED] struck her vehicle, a Maroon F150, and another before fleeing.

The complainant was inside her parked vehicle, facing the other involved vehicle, a silver Toyota 4-Runner. The driver of the Silverado was southbound in the parking aisle behind the 4-Runner, when its driver turned into the left side of the 4-Runner. The driver of the Silverado sideswiped the left side of the 4-Runner, and continued driving forward. The Silverado was partially in the parking space to the left of the 4-Runner as he continued to drive forward into the parking space in front of the one he was previously in. The driver of the Silverado did not stop after the impact with the 4-Runner.

The driver of the Silverado turned right from the next parking space it drove into, and sideswiped the rear right side of the complainant’s vehicle. The driver of the Silverado never stopped or attempted to return the scene of either crash. The complainant was able to provide the license plate for the Silverado, and I asked dispatch to send a lookout request to surrounding agencies for it.

In the lookout request, I informed dispatch that the Silverado should have damage to its front right side and along its right side. A Flock Safety search was completed, and I learned that the Silverado was captured on Hwy 29/ Danielsville Rd. Cpl. Matthews with Georgia State Patrol was able to stop the vehicle and detain its driver in the parking lot of Golden Pantry on Hwy 106/ SR 8. He confirmed there was damage consistent with the damage on the other vehicles. The driver was identified as Keenan Anderson, the registered owner of the vehicle.

When I arrived at Golden Pantry, I exchanged custody of Mr. Anderson, searched him, then placed him into my vehicle. I saw that Mr. Anderson had watery, bloodshot eyes and smelled of the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Cpl. Matthews told me that he saw some concerning items inside Mr. Anderson’s vehicle when he detained him, but he chose not to touch anything. Mr. Anderson asked for his wallet and phone from his vehicle. When I opened his driver’s door, I saw an opened can of Bud Light in his driver side door pocket. The can was still cold and had contents inside.

Since I found evidence of an intoxicant, I performed a search of his entire passenger compartment. Another can of Bud Light was found behind the passenger seat that still had contents inside. I went back to where Mr. Anderson was seated inside my vehicle, and told him that he was under arrest for DUI. I read him the Notice of Implied Consent for persons over 21, and he refused the state administered chemical testing of his blood.

A wrecker was called for Mr. Anderson’s vehicle, and Wilson’s Towing responded. A wrecker inventory was completed. Mr. Anderson was taken to the jail, and turned over without incident. He was charged with Hit-and-run, DUI-alcohol (less safe), and Open container. His license was confiscated, and he was served with an Administrative License Suspension form (DDS form 1205).

[NARRATIVE #2 on April 03, 2026]

[VICTIM #1] was the complainant and driver of the F150. [VICTIM #2] was the owner of the 4-Runner. A card was left on her vehicle, and a follow-up was conducted to inform her of the incident.
