[NARRATIVE #1 on February 14, 2026]

On February 14th at around 5:00 pm, I met the victim at the Murphy’s Gas Station located next to Walmart at 1911 Epps Bridge Parkway. The victim told me that she was traveling eastbound on University Parkway where it becomes Epps Bridge Parkway at the on and off-ramp for the Inner Loop. She was traveling eastbound in #1 lane and just before she crossed through the intersection, a white Nissan Pathfinder GA tag [REDACTED] had made a U-turn. After clearing the intersection, the driver of the Pathfinder moved into her lane. The left front section of the Pathfinder crashed into the right front section of the victim’s silver GMC Sierra GA tag [REDACTED].

The driver of the Pathfinder did not stop and continued on Epps Bridge Parkway past Oconee Connector. At the intersection with Dowdy Road, the driver of the Pathfinder stopped and got out of the SUV. He was described as a black male approximately in his 40’s to 50’s around 5’10”, 290 pounds with bald with a white shirt.

The driver of the Pathfinder stared at the victim as the victim was calling 9-1-1. The driver of the Pathfinder got back into his vehicle and fled eastbound on Epps Bridge into Athens-Clarke County at a high rate of speed. The victim had her minor daughter in the truck with her at the time of the crash, and she desired prosecution of the driver of the Pathfinder.

The initial tag provided by the victim was incorrect, however, the victim’s daughter wrote down the tag number for the Pathfinder. Using FLOCK, I located the Pathfinder on Epps Bridge at the time of this collision. I showed the victim and her daughter a picture of this Pathfinder. They both confirmed that it was the correct vehicle.

I ran an NCIC/GCIC records check and discovered the second registered owner for the Pathfinder, suspect, was a black male who is bald and heavy set. He has a suspended license and is currently on parole from prison with previous charges of fleeing from law enforcement. I put together a photo lineup using the most recent photograph of the suspect from 2023.

Deputy Rainwater and I met with the victim and her daughter later at a park. Deputy Rainwater presented the victim with this line up while I was out of eyesight and earshot. The victim identified the suspect and another male in the line-up. We also presented the lineup to the victim’s daughter. She identified the same other male as the victim. These lineups along with a blank lineup were booked into evidence at the sheriff’s office.

This investigation is still ongoing at this time.

[NARRATIVE #2 on February 23, 2026]

On February 23rd, 2026, at around 3:00 am, Cpl. Rowling from Walton County Sheriff’s Office in coordination with Sgt. Pulliam from Oconee County Sheriff’s Office stopped the suspect, Kenric Bradley, in the white Nissan Pathfinder GA tag [REDACTED] in Walton County.

Cpl. Rowling saw damage to the driver’s side of the Pathfinder. He forwarded these pictures to Sgt. Pulliam, who then forwarded them to me. The damage seen on the Pathfinder appeared to match the damage seen on the victim’s truck. Cpl. Rowling arrested Bradley for driving with a suspended license and red light violation in Walton County, and they transported Bradley to the Walton County Jail.

At around 12:30 pm, I drove to the Walton County Jail where I spoke with Bradley. I read Bradley the Miranda Advisement. He understood his rights and agreed to speak with me. Bradley admitted that he was involved in this collision. He was making a U-turn when he was struck by the victim. He was not sure what exactly happened. He fled from the scene because his license is suspended. Bradley is unable to get his license back due to child support and other issues.

Bradley explained that the Pathfinder did not belong to him. It belongs to his wife. She was a patient at the rehab facility on Parkway Boulevard, and he was going to see her. He took the keys from the house and drove to see her. When she saw the damage, he initially told her it was because someone backed into her Pathfinder while it was parked. He later admitted the truth to her that he had been hit and fled from the scene. Bradley was adamant that his wife did not know that he had been driving, but she was not going to report the Pathfinder as stolen.

I obtained warrants for Bradley from Magistrate Judge Connelly for hit-and-run, driving with a suspended license and improper U-turn. Walton County Jail gave Bradley an Own Recognizance Bond and released him into my custody. I transported Bradley to the Oconee County Jail where he was booked in without further incident. In addition to the warrants, I issued citations for the same violations, so the violations are reported to the Georgia Department of Driver’s Services.
