While enroute to a Dispute to occure, I heard tones drop and dispatch advise of an Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and that a person was shot or stabbed. I diverted off my dispute to occure and initiated my lights and siren. The caller advised that the vehicles involved in this incident were a Mercedes and a Lexus black in color.
I arrived on scene and made contact with Paulding Fire who were working on what appeared to be an older white male. The male was not responsive at this time. I was notified by Fire that the male had driven to the fire station in his vehicle. I observed a older model Mercedes sedan. I walked up to the vehicle and observed broken glass and blood all over the front driver seat.
Metro ambulance arrived on scene and transported the white male victim to Paulding County Wellstar. Sergeant (Sgt.) Martin #1284 followed Metro / the victim the to Paulding Wellstar.
I notified all units that the Mercedes was on scene with me and that it was the victims vehicle and to be on the look out for the suspects vehicle. I notified Supervision to have Crime Scene and CID(Criminal Investigations Division) enroute. I observed blood drippings from the Mercedes, up the side walk, to the back door of the fire station.
I taped off the crime scene and started a crime scene log. Fire notified me that they would be out of service for the duration of the investigation.
Crime Scene and CID arrived on scene. The male victim was identified as [REDACTED] DOB: [REDACTED BY AGENCY]/1984. [REDACTED] was pronounced dead at 1513 and Paulding Wellstar.
Shelton’s Towing arrived on scene and had the victims vehicle towed to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office for evidence per Crime Scene.
No suspect(s) have been identified at this time.
