On January 12, 2025 at approximately 0838 hours, I Deputy Davis #1434 with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Juvenile Division, while working my assigned duties at North Paulding High School (NPHS), was advised of a fight occurring on the 1200 Hallway.
Upon arrival, I met with administration who was with two students involved in the altercation. While administration took the two students to the front conference room to be interviewed, I met with a third student [VICTIM #1], who was involved in the altercation as well.
[VICTIM #1] stated that this past Saturday, 01/10/2026, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and Davione Lynch wanted to meet [VICTIM #1] to “talk” (fight). This was because [VICTIM #1] told [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and Davione that they were in a fake “Blood” gang over text message. In response, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] n responded with “95$hine East Blood SunnyGang GBK” which is formally known as the “95 Shine East Bloods”. This is a common East coast blood gang set. [VICTIM #1] stated that no one showed up to talk on Saturday, so he thought it died off.
On today’s date, [VICTIM #1] walked into the 1200 Hall bathroom where [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and Davione were already at. While in the bathroom, a verbal argument began and that’s when multiple students stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and Davione jumped [VICTIM #1]. Punches between all three students were exchanged and [VICTIM #1] was seen running out of the bathroom.
When [VICTIM #1] was seen attempting to flee the altercation, that’s when [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and Davione chased [VICTIM #1], and began throwing punches in the middle of the hallway. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was seen punching [VICTIM #1] in the nose as [VICTIM #1] was attempting to run away, which caused a disfigured and possibly broken nose. Blood is seen spewing out of [VICTIM #1]’s nose across the hallway floor. While [VICTIM #1] is still running, Davione is witnessed chasing [VICTIM #1] and punching him in the head once, and missing a second time.
Due to the loud commotion, teachers and admin were finally able to separate the students involved. The on-site nurse checked [VICTIM #1]’s injuries, and she stated there is a high chance that his nose is broken, and the deep laceration on his lip will need stitches. [VICTIM #1] was unable to move his nose without severe pain or breathe out of it without bleeding, due to the new disfiguration.
I then began speaking with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and Davione about the incident. They both stated that they weren’t sure why [VICTIM #1] wanted to fight them, but in the bathroom, they agreed to the fight so they began fighting each other. When asked about the potential incident this prior Saturday, they both stated they had “things to do” so they didn’t show up to “talk”. They stated there was only fighting in the bathroom and not in the hallway. I advised them I have video footage of the incident, and they just stated “ok” and did not speak any more about the incident.
Due to the facts presented to me, I placed Davione in my department issued handcuffs. They were checked for tightness and the double-lock mechanism was engaged. I transported Davione to the jail and turned him over to the jail staff with no complications while he waited on pending investigations. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was transported to the Juvenile department for pending investigation as well.
I met with Detective Chad Murphy, a certified gang investigator for the Sheriff’s Office, and explained the incident to him. After reviewing the facts about the case, and public social media accounts of Davione and [REDACTED BY AGENCY], both of them were interviewed by Detective Murphy about their gang affiliations.
When the interviews were completed, I made contact with Judge Baty and discussed the incident. After speaking with her, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and Davione Lynch were both charged with Aggravated Battery OCGA 16-5-24, Criminal Street Gang Act OCGA 16-15-4(A) and OCGA 16-15-4(B). Both [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and Davione were denied bond. All available evidence was attached to the report with more potential evidence to be possibly added in the future.
[End of Narrative]
