On October 6, 2025, at 1:19 AM, I, Deputy Robinson, was dispatched to [200 BLOCK] Thunder Ridge Drive for a domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, I spoke with Harry Parker. He said he and the victim, [VICTIM #1], argued about rent, as [VICTIM #1]’s husband wanted to raise it to $750. Harry had moved in February 2025 and paid $500 monthly. Harry stated that [VICTIM #1] swiped a table and threw two glasses at him, one of which hit his nose. She went upstairs, threw another glass from the stairs, hitting his head. After separating for 15–30 minutes, [VICTIM #1] came downstairs, and Harry strangled her on the couch for 15 seconds, saying he did so until she calmed down.
I went inside the residence and made contact with [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated she woke up. [VICTIM #1] was shaking as she started to walk down the stairs. [VICTIM #1] stated that Harry and she had argued. [VICTIM #1] said she could not go against what she and her husband agreed on when they were twenty about taking care of family members. [VICTIM #1] stated that Harry would have an alcoholic drink every night. [VICTIM #1] said Harry, her dad, strangled her, and she passed out. [VICTIM #1] stated she woke up from being strangled and went inside her room. [VICTIM #1] stated she locked her bedroom door and was in fear for her life. [VICTIM #1] did not have red marks on her neck or handprints. [VICTIM #1] said she believed that Harry had dementia, but he has not been diagnosed with it.
While inside the residence, there were no glass cups on the floor, but a pill container was on the floor. There was a table that was flipped inside the living room. [VICTIM #1] did not want to press charges against her father because she is the only family member who takes care of him.
I walked Harry to my patrol car due to his mobility issues and searched him. I had him sit in the rear passenger seat and cuffed his hands in front with two handcuffs because of his age and health conditions.
I gave [VICTIM #1] a family violence packet and explained it. I transported Harry to Paulding County Jail, where he was taken into custody without incident. I checked my patrol car for contraband and found none before returning to service.
On October 6, 2025, at 5:26 a.m., Paulding County Magistrate Judge Johnson signed the following arrest warrants for Harry.
Warrant Number 25- 2703 Aggravated Assault Family Violence
[End of Narrative]
