On February 27, 2026, at approximately 2052 hours, I was dispatched to [50 BLOCK] Crocker Ln, regarding a welfare check.

Before we arrived on scene, dispatch notified us that another 911 call was placed in regards to this incident, but it was a dispute. We were informed that the complainant, [WITNESS #1], stated that her friend, Oriely Dejesus Sanchez, got her foot ran over by her boyfriend.

As we arrived on scene, [WITNESS #1] stated that Oriely called her around 2100 hours and said that her boyfriend, Jhosue Martin Jorge, ran over her left foot over on purpose with his vehicle. Oriely had sent a picture to [WITNESS #1] on Whatsapp of her foot, but it was a picture that can only be opened once. As we continued to speak with [WITNESS #1], Oriely looked outside of her residence window and walked outside.

Oriely began walking towards us and stated that everything was okay. Oriely was observed to be a bit nervous and her voice was shaking. Due to the language barrier and Oriely only speaking Spanish, I was translating throughout the entire incident. [WITNESS #1] told Oriely to show us her foot, Oriely then picked up her pant legs and showed us her feet. Her left foot was observed swollen and bruising was forming. Oriely was asked if she wanted to be checked by EMS and she denied any medical treatment.

Two males then opened the front door and one male started signaling with his hands telling us to come to the front door. Oriely was asked for her name and her boyfriends name who ran her foot over and she refused to answer.

As the other deputies began walking towards the front door, Oriely attempted to run towards the Deputies so I grabbed her by the arm and told her that she had to stay back. As deputies attempted to get the males to open the front door, I let go of Oriely and told her to open the door. As she opened the residence door and went inside, she attempted to close the door to prevent us from coming in.

Furthermore, I asked Oriely who was the individual that ran over her foot and she stated that he was no longer in the residence and had left. I told Oriely to give me his number and I attempted to give him a call. I attempted to call but the phone continued to go to voicemail.

[WITNESS #1] and her husband, were asked if they could point the individual out that ran over Oriely’s foot. [WITNESS #1] approached the residence door and pointed at Jhosue and stated that he was the one who ran Oriely’s foot over.

I began asking Jhosue for his information, his name, DOB, and phone number and he refused to give me the information. Jhosue was asked twice more for his information and he said “why is that necessary, I do not need to give you that.” Oriely then stepped in and gave me Jhosue’s information.

Jhosue was then told to either step outside or we would have to come inside. Jhosue refused and we told him that those were his only two options, to come outside willingly or we will come inside and get him. Jhosue then came outside the residence and Oriely followed.

Oriely was told to go back into the residence and she said “NO.” Oriely was told once more that she needed to go into the residence or she would be arrested as well. Oriely again said “No, I don’t want to, he didn’t do anything.” Oriely then stepped in front of Jhosue preventing him from being under arrest. Assisting deputies then grabbed Oriely by the arm and placed her in handcuffs. Jhouse was placed under arrest shortly after.

As Deputy K. Jones #1484 walked Oriely to her vehicle and I walked Jhosue to my vehicle, Deputy Kitchens went to look at the vehicle that is registered to Jhosue. The car’s right door mirror was observed to be closed in and there was soda marks from the front door to the back door.

Prior to arresting Jhosue and Oriely, I asked [WITNESS #1] to see the messages between her and Oriely. Oriely had deleted her messages with [WITNESS #1] and the messages read, “Oriely has deleted this message.” Both subjects were taken to the Paulding County Detention Center.

Oriely Dejesus was taken for Obstruction on LEO – M, and Jhosue Jorge was taken for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – F and Obstruction of LEO – M.
