On 09/02/2025 I responded to the location of [100 BLOCK] Oakbridge Dr in reference to a civil dispute. The caller [WITNESS #1] advised that she arrived at the location after her daughter called and advised her that her stepfather locked them out of the residence.
The arrested William stated that he was in his bedroom sleeping and did not hear anyone at the door. William advised that if [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] would have knocked, he would have let them in. Williams advised he had a few alcoholic drinks and just wanted to lay down.
William stated that [WITNESS #1] has another residence and there have divorce court in the morning. [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] advised that William had a gun during the argument. I asked William about the firearm and he advised that he does not even own a firearm.
[VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] were advised about the eviction process and about how to apply for a TPO. [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] left the residence after gathering some items for the night. William was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the county jail.
The residence was secured by [WITNESS #1], There is nothing further to report at this time. The suspect in this case was arrested later for this dispute after [WITNESS #1] and [VICTIM #2] came to the Paulding County Sheriff office and they wrote written statements about what occurred at the residence. I took the statements and applied for additional charges for William. William received two warrants for aggravated assault against the victims in this case.
