On 12/07/2025 at approximately 0200 hours, I responded to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] McWorter Lane in reference to a reported battery family violence. Upon my arrival, I made contact with [VICTIM #1], [VICTIM #2], and their daughter, Julie Mize. Julie Mize was arrested for Battery, Family Violence, and Elder Exploitation.

Deputy Naylor located Julie Mize before I arrived at the intersection of McWorter Lane and Highway 76. Deputy Naylor stood by with Julie while I went to the residence.

At the residence, I made contact with [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2], who advised their daughter Julie Mize had attacked them. [VICTIM #1] advised that she heard Julie screaming and smashing things. [VICTIM #1] advised that she go to the bedroom to confront Julie. [VICTIM #1] advised that Julie flew into a rage and began punching her on the face, neck, and chest with a closed fist. [VICTIM #1] advised that during the altercation, Julie threw a plastic case containing several glass pipes, which broke upon impact. [VICTIM #1] advised that, as Julie was hitting her, she yelled for [VICTIM #2] to call 911.

[VICTIM #2] came into the bedroom to see what was going on and found [VICTIM #1] and Julie fighting. [VICTIM #2] advised that as he came to the bedroom, he tried to separate Julie and [VICTIM #1], and Julie began to attack him. [VICTIM #2] advised Julie punched him on the face and grabbed his neck. [VICTIM #2] also advised that Julie grabbed his neck and scratched him. [VICTIM #2] also had marks on his arms that were from falling during the altercation. [VICTIM #2] advised that he had struck Julie in self-defense.

[VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] advised that Julie was under the influence of alcohol and narcotics, as well as suffering from mental health problems.

I went back to the intersection where Julie was located. Julie advised she was tearing up her mail when [VICTIM #1] suddenly entered the room and hit her on the face. Julie advised while she was fighting [VICTIM #1], [VICTIM #2] came to the room and attacked her. Julie advised [VICTIM #1] had attacked her before, but Julie stated she went to jail for the previous incident. Julie stated that she had been drinking and using narcotics before the incident began. Julie advised that the case of the glass pipes she threw at [VICTIM #1] belonged to her sister, [REDACTED].

I then advised Julie she was under arrest for Battery Family Violence and Elder Exploitation. Julie requested I take the mail and her dog back to the residence, which I did. Deputy Naylor transported Julie to jail without incident.

[VICTIM #1] had a large red raised area on her face and neck. [VICTIM #2] had a scratch and a red, raised area on his neck, along with scratches on his arms. Julie had a red, raised face as well. I photographed the injuries to [VICTIM #1], [VICTIM #2], and Julie.

I collected the plastic case and glass pipes and submitted them as evidence for destruction.

I presented warrants for Battery Family Violence (2) and Elder Exploitation (2) against Julie Mize before Magistrate Judge Blalock, which he signed. I then turned the warrants over to the jail.
