On Sunday, March 29, 2026, at approximately 0233 hours, Deputy Thomas Ray and Deputy Brandon Watson were dispatched to [10 BLOCK] Lake Shore Loop in reference to shots fired in the area. At this time, Deputy Tyler Holland attempted a traffic stop on a purple Toyota Scion (Ga Tag: [REDACTED]; Last 6 of VIN: [REDACTED]) that was in the area at the time of the shooting. The vehicle then attempted to flee from Deputy Holland. At approximately 0237, Deputy Thomas Ray and Deputy Tyler Holland conducted a traffic stop on a purple Toyota Scion on Milledge Road and Lake Avenue.

Deputies detained the male driver, Brandon Rozier, and the female passenger, [REDACTED]. Upon Deputy Brandon Watson’s arrival at [10 BLOCK] Lake Shore Loop, 7 shell casings were discovered at the end of Lake Shore Loop, and black broken glass in the middle of the road.

Due to the ring camera at [10 BLOCK] Lake Shore Loop, the victim’s vehicle was a black 2015 Kia Soul (GA tag: [REDACTED]; last 6 digits of VIN: [REDACTED]) with the back window shot out. The driver and owner of the Kia Soul was identified as [VICTIM #1]. The Kia Soul or [VICTIM #1] was not on scene upon Deputies arrival.

Sergeant Stephen Brown, Investigator Charlie Walker, and Investigator Mathis from CID arrived on scene, and the case was turned over to him.
