[NARRATIVE #1 on May 22, 2025]
On May 22nd, 2025, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of shots fired at [1100 BLOCK] Integrity Drive, Augusta, GA. Upon arrival, deputies located an individual, identified as [REDACTED], who had sustained at least one gunshot wound as a result of a shooting incident. [REDACTED] was later pronounced deceased at 23:36 hours by Richmond County Deputy Coroner Chris Langford.
During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that the residence at [4000 BLOCK] Honor Trail, Apartment [REDACTED], sustained multiple projectile strikes to the exterior windows and walls as a result of the shooting incident which caused [REDACTED]’s death.
Investigators made contact with two individuals inside the apartment: [VICTIM #1] and her daughter, [VICTIM #2]. [VICTIM #1] informed investigators that both she and her daughter were asleep during the incident and were unaware that a shooting had occurred.
The case has been turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division (CID) for further investigation.

[NARRATIVE #2 on May 30, 2025]
On May 30, 2025, at approximately 0724 hours, I Deputy Taylor Hayes (102) and Deputy Jose Ferrer (103) were at 912 Ellis St Augusta GA 30901 in reference to a non-related call (25-106908).
While on scene, I, Deputy Hayes observed a black 2015 Dodge Durango [REDACTED] in the rear parking lot of the above listed location unoccupied. Based on my knowledge at the time, Deputies were aware the listed above vehicle was associated with a Aggravated Assault case. I, Deputy Hayes notified Inv Evan Carter (717) in CID.
Inv. Carter stated to have the vehicle towed to the Sheriff’s Office (400 Walton Way) per B80 (Sgt Stephen Brown) as Evidence.
The next list was notified (A.C. Proctors) and later arrived on scene and transported the vehicle to the back lot at 400 Walton Way. The vehicle was turned over under Property Receipt #523733.
