On 10/27/2025 I Deputy Christopher Meyers (124) was dispatched to [2900 BLOCK] Ulm Rd. Lot [REDACTED] in reference to a person who was shot (GSW) at this location.

When I arrived on scene, I noticed a large puddle of blood located at the front of the residence. When I entered the residence, I made contact with [VICTIM #1] (Victim), and Witten, Corey (Arrested), who were both located in the side bedroom.

Ms. [VICTIM #1] had a possible gunshot wound to the right leg, and Mr. Witten was sitting on the chair in front of Ms. [VICTIM #1], trying to calm her down.

Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated that she was standing on the front porch of the above-listed location when an unknown vehicle passed her residence, firing a shot. Ms. [VICTIM #1] advised that she did not get a good look at the vehicle, but did advise that she was sure the bullet came from the roadway. Ms. [VICTIM #1] was taken from the scene and transported to Wellstar for her injuries.

I then made contact with Witten who stated that he was at the bottom of the ramp in front of the residence. Mr. Witten advised that his back was towards the road, and he didn’t see the vehicle that fired the shot at Ms. [VICTIM #1]. At the time of the report, Ms. [VICTIM #1] and Mr. Witten both advised that there was possibly one shot fired from the roadway.

While on scene, I was unable to locate a shell casing in the roadway, where both parties advised that the shot was fired from. CID arrived on scene: Hambrick.

The scene was turned over to Hambrick.

Mr. Witten was transported to 400 Walton Way at the request of CID and was subsequently arrested and committed to CBWDC after further investigation for the listed charge. Inv. Monga applied for and secured the warrant for Witten. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (Other/Juvenile on scene was turned over to [REDACTED] (Other) with permission from Ms. [VICTIM #1].
