On Sunday, March 08, 2026 at 0530 hours I, Deputy Daniel Gunn (431), was dispatched to 2350 Windsor Spring Road in reference to a trouble with subject.

Upon arrival Dep. Gunn made contact with [VICTIM #1] (complainant/victim) and [VICTIM #2] (victim) who both advised Dep. Gunn that [VICTIM #1] had been struck by a vehicle that was driven by Dakhia Roston (suspect) and Kalyl Roberson (suspect) was in the passenger seat of the vehicle. Dep. Gunn further observed that a third party, identified as [WITNESS #1] (witness) was also present.

Dep. Gunn asked [VICTIM #1] if she wanted EMS to come check her out due to her injuries, and she advised that she would seek medical care on her own. Dep. Gunn then made contact with the Get ‘N’ Go gas station and attempted to get CCTV footage of the incident, Dep. Gunn observed that the cameras reflected 0459 hours, and were approximately an hour and 11 minutes behind. Dep. Gunn attempted to get the video of the incident, but was unable to view or download footage due to the CCTV system freezing and lagging.

Dep. Gunn then returned outside and obtained a video recorded statement from [WITNESS #1]. A synopsis of the statement reflects the following:

[WITNESS #1] advised Deputy Gunn that he had been sitting in front of the business for several hours, and that he observed two vehicles coming from Winston Way towards Rosier Road on Windsor Spring Road. [WITNESS #1] advised that he observed the vehicles swerving, and observed that the subjects inside of both vehicles were arguing.

[WITNESS #1] further advised that one of the vehicles, the one driven by [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] pulled into the parking lot of 2350 Windsor spring Road and was followed by the second vehicle, a Chevy Malibu. [WITNESS #1] stated that the subjects of both vehicles were involved in a verbal altercation. [WITNESS #1] stated that the driver and passenger of the Malibu were still inside of the vehicle, while [VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] were on foot.

[WITNESS #1] further advised that the driver began driving erratically in the parking lot, striking [VICTIM #1] with the front of the vehicle. [WITNESS #1] stated that initially [VICTIM #1] landed on the hood of the car, and that the driver of the vehicle accelerated, and began doing donuts in the parking lot, and accelerated towards [VICTIM #1] striking her with the front of her vehicle approximately two more times, with the third time, her being thrown in the air over the car.

[WITNESS #1] stated that the vehicle did not stop and attempt to render aide, but that the vehicle then fled the area, and traveled down Windsor Spring Road towards Richmond Hill Road. [WITNESS #1] identified the driver as a black female with messed up hair, wearing a black or dark colored shirt, and the passenger to be a female passenger with long hair with a light colored shirt. [WITNESS #1] was unable to provide any information at this time.

Dep. Gunn then spoke with [VICTIM #1] who provided a statement consistent with [WITNESS #1]. [VICTIM #1] also advised Dep. Gunn that she thought she was going to die, and that she pulled in the store to prevent the subjects from following her to her house. Dep. Gunn further asked [VICTIM #1] if she would be able to positively identify the driver and passenger of the vehicle, and she advised Dep. Gunn that they were the subjects from a previous call for service at [2300 BLOCK] Winston Way under case number 2026-050330.

Dep. Gunn observed that [VICTIM #1] had injuries to the left side of her body, with lacerations to her left elbow, knee, and wrist. Dep. Gunn advised [VICTIM #1] that she should go to the hospital, after [VICTIM #1] advised Dep. Gunn that she was going to seek medical care at another time.

Dep. Gunn then spoke with [VICTIM #2] who stated that after the call for service at [2300 BLOCK] Winston Way under case number 2026-050330 when Dep. Gunn and Deputy Maliq Harper (428) departed the scene at 0504 hours, that she returned to the location to retrieve her glasses and her keys.

[VICTIM #2] stated that as they were leaving they observed the car of the other party from Winston Way at the stop sign for Winston Way and Windsor Spring Road. [VICTIM #2] stated that the vehicle attempted to strike their vehicle, and they didn’t want to damage their vehicle so she and [VICTIM #1], who were riding in [VICTIM #1] vehicle pulled into 2350 Windsor Spring Road and parked the vehicle.

[VICTIM #2] stated that after she and [VICTIM #1] exited the vehicle they got into a verbal altercation with the driver and passenger of the vehicle. [VICTIM #2] then advised that the driver of the vehicle accelerated and attempted to strike her and did strike [VICTIM #1] with the vehicle. [VICTIM #2] then advised Dep. Gunn that the driver of the vehicle then struck [VICTIM #1] approximately three times with the vehicle.

Dep. Gunn asked [VICTIM #2] who was driving the vehicle, and [VICTIM #2] stated that it was the female with the bob cut that Dep. Gunn was talking to at [2300 BLOCK] Winston Way wearing the black crop top. Dep. Gunn was able to identify the female as Dakhia Roston (suspect). Dep. Gunn then asked who the passenger was, and [VICTIM #2] advised that it was the transgender male that was on scene at [2300 BLOCK] Winston Way named Kalyl. Dep. Gunn was able to identify the subject as Kalyl Roberson (suspect).

Dep. Gunn asked [VICTIM #2] if she would be able to positively identify the suspects, and she advised that she would. Dep. Gunn presented still photographs of Dakhia Roston and Kalyl Roberson utilizing drivers license photos, and [VICTIM #2] confirmed that those were the suspects.

Dep. Gunn then made contact with Investigative Sergeant Joshua Evans (B71) and advised him of the known facts of the case. Sgt. Evans searched through FLOCK and was able to identify the vehicle as having passed through Peach Orchard Road at its intersection with Jessie’s Way at approximately 0534 hours.

Sgt. Evans then searched for a possible address for Dakhia Roston and located the address of [3700 BLOCK] Millstone Run. Dep. Gunn was able to locate a possible address of [300 BLOCK] Forest Court in Columbia County Georgia. Dep. Gunn requested that dispatch make contact with the Columbia County Sheriff’s office and send a unit by that location in an attempt to locate Dakhia Roston and Kalyl Roberson. Dep. Gunn was advised by dispatch that Columbia County Sheriff’s Office had negative contact at that location.

Dep. Gunn along with Sergeant Keith Smith (B42), Corporal Wesley Youngblood (C14), Deputy James Douglas (123), and Deputy Maliq Harper (428) relocated to [3700 BLOCK] Millstone Run in an attempt to locate Dakhia Roston and Kalyl Roberson with negative contact.

Dep Gunn made contact with [REDACTED] who stated that neither Dakhia Roston nor Kalyl Roberson lived at the residence but that she gets mail for them all the time. [REDACTED] stated that she moved into the residence in November of 2025 and believes the individuals lived at the residence prior to November of 2025. [REDACTED] provided Dep. Gunn with the phone number of [REDACTED].
