On 03/27/26 at 0904 hours, I, Deputy Joshua Williams, responded to Olive Road at Eagles Way, where I met with RCSS units PS48, Officer Jeff Stevenson, and PS39, Officer Jahanie Thompson, about a child molestation. Darren Holden was detained inside Officer Thompson’s patrol vehicle.

Thompson stated that he was dispatched to this location around 0900 hours on 3/27/26 regarding Holden exposing himself to children walking to Murphy Middle School, 1921 Eagles Way. Thompson stated he located Holden near the intersection of Olive Rd at Eagles Way. Thompson stated that when he approached Holden, he had his BWC activated.

Officer Thompson repeated Holden’s statement to me. Holden stated to Officer Thompson that he, Holden, told the children to kiss his a*s and pulled his pants down and showed his underwear to the kids. Officer Thompson stated that Officer Stevenson arrived. Officer Thompson stated that Holden began cursing and was detained inside Officer Thompson’s patrol vehicle. Officer Thompson stated that Holden had refused to identify himself.

Officer Stevenson stated that he located Officer Thompson and Holden speaking near the intersection of Olive Rd at Eagles Way. Officer Stevenson stated he had his BWC activated when he approached.

Officer Stevenson stated that Holden walked up to [WITNESS #1], who was inside the driver’s seat of the listed Chevrolet. Officer Stevenson stated that Holden told [WITNESS #1], “No motherfu*ker! I pulled my pants down and told them to kiss my black a*s!” Officer Stevenson stated that [WITNESS #1] stated that Holden showed his pe*is and a*s. Officer Stevenson stated that Holden said, “Yeah, yeah,” and placed his hands behind his back.

[WITNESS #1] stated that she was driving on Olive Road on 3/27/26 around 0850 hours to take her daughter, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to Murphy Middle School. [WITNESS #1] stated that when she approached her right turn for Eagles Way, she observed Holden showing his naked butt with his hands positioned in a way that made her believe this was an intentional exposure. [WITNESS #1] stated that Holden was showing his naked butt to juvenile boys walking beside him.

[WITNESS #1] stated that when she drove by Holden, he turned around to face her, exposing his pe*is to her. [WITNESS #1] stated that she is unsure of whether [REDACTED BY AGENCY] saw Holden exposing his pe*is and naked butt at this time.

[WITNESS #1] stated that one of the boys walking had headphones on his head. [WITNESS #1] stated that this exposure happened in front of the green store on Olive Rd. [WITNESS #1] stated that after she dropped off [REDACTED BY AGENCY] she returned to make sure RCSS BOE police found Holden to stop him. [WITNESS #1] stated that she saw Officer Thompson and Officer Stevenson and stopped to speak with them.

Officer Thompson provided me with the names of the students victimized by Holden, whom he identified at this time: [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

I contacted my supervisor, Sergeant Kenneth McKenzie. CID was notified. Investigator Robert Ferraro responded. I transported Holden to the RCSO main office, 400 Walton Way. From 400 Way, I transported Holden to CBWDC on the listed charges.
